I think the proof is blatantly obvious to anyone willing to see it. You can judge a tree by its fruit, and the fruit of today's Islamic world is backwardness, hatred for the "other," and dozens of wars and insurgencies being lead by Islamists all over the world. Over the past 100 years alone, the "infidels" invented the automobile, cured diseases, and put a man on the moon. During that same time, what have the Muslims contributed to global welfare, exactly? If the Western civilization that invented the above were to not have happened, the whole world would be in a far worse place. But honestly, what would the world lose today if today's Islamic world were to magically disappear? NOTHING.
