I watched a clip of a college girl sinking 3 pointers like she was in the men's league. Now she in the WNBA. I never watched basketball in my life. Didn't care. I’m trying to watch it because of her but between the sloppy plays, bad coaching and terrible officiating, I have a hard time watching the entire thing. I’ve seen eighth grade boys play better than most of the WNBA players. I’m still not giving up!
This is what Swoopes is trying to pin on her teammates instead of recognising that it is CC who is making them better. The last team in the league last year is playing great(bcos of one person). Setting them up for success, drawing away defenders for easy buckets etc. She is just that good
Sides needs to go. The officiating in the WNBA is terrible. It’s hard to watch a WNBA game because of that and sloppy play. The quality of play is why they don’t get paid as much. Congratulations Carlin on an outstanding performance with a migraine!
I call it regular fouling and dirty fouling comes in with lack of skill which is used to stop freedom of movement instead of using your feet they use their hands and arms

The games may be sloppy, there may be fouling and Physicality, but there is so much inconsistency it is blatant and hard to miss, I could care less whether it’s more physical or less physical but when it is biased and inconsistent, Games Won vs Lost that come down to How the refs call the game, yeah, it pisses me off, I’m a consistent person in my life, I do not like things that are up and down like a yo-yo, Especially for professional sports, the fact that the WNBA refs are so inconsistent and suck and better suited for Officiating Junior high school basketball games

There is a reason she didn’t get her triple double, they don’t want her to get any more hype than she came in with. Her coach has done everything she can to stifle CC game, and to get the ball out of her hands. Her coach knew how close she was to getting the triple double that’s why she took Clark out of the game.
Sides has lost so much controlof that team. Team is filled with petty jealousy that Sides works against Clark to be buddies with rest of team. Boston and Clark shoukd stay and the rest need booted including Sides. If that happened they could be contender.

Sides put CC in with 21 seconds to go, got her the ball so SHE would be shooting the free throws, and CC delivers for Sides and the Fever! Then what does Sides do? Takes her out and prevents her from getting a triple double. Absolutely the most selfish, petty move I have ever seen by a coach. Sickening
So meaningless stats says professional? One more rebound for her wouldn't have effected anything. Players play their part more in the WNBA. That might change, but you didn't see little guards hanging back for rebounds and players stat padding like NBA because they put that shit on a pedestal. I recently watched a men’s game and there were four consecutive trips for each team where a typically gimme shot was missed. And men typically have better vertical jumps so they play higher to rim. Just saying that there can be sloppy play or anrun of bad shooting in any game.
She is a decent rookie, but not yet among the best. She may get there some day, if she does the work and if the Fever builds a team around her particular skills. Like Warriors did with Steph Curry.
