Um yea it does it rained there an they tried to dry the track that day. So yea still slick bud. I mean if yea read the comments there is one from the guy driving the mustang saying it also rained that day so idk why you being a smartass but each there own
@@LoneWolfSnowplowing it’s important to distinguish between those days, and days when the track is wet but dry. Requires a totally different driving strategy to get down the track fast and not slow.
Did not seem anywhere near that close on Cleet's vid. He didn't even know it happened until somebody told him. I think I would have pooped a little. If Cleet had this angle he could have also put it in one of his drifting videos.
I am that mustang guy and after all the rain and them trying to dry the track out, there was still some water on the big end that got me loose like that.
@@281sTravel yeah it was. It was more like a no prep event. The rain didn't help at all. Give the track crew credit for trying, but honestly they should have called the race after the 2nd rain came.
props to the other driver. shit happens but you seem him rocking it. if he just cut it back into his lane he would've been sideways fast. takes composure to keep it off the wall in situations like that
Gotta hand it to the pony car driver...never touched the brakes till he was going completely straight. Hitting water at that speed is dangerous as hell but he didn't overreact and kept his and cleets car damage free. 👏

Braking any earlier would have sent him into the wall. Think of what you're suppose to do if you hydroplane. Off the accelerator, gain control of your vehicle, THEN brake.
The mustang actually won if you slow down the video the mustangs time and speed pops up before cleets time and speed plus the mustang had a faster speed and time
