Still love the patina. :-) You probably covered the wiring already. In my Holley EFI class we talked about the need for a dedicated power wire from as close to the battery as possible for the most consistent voltage, with the least amount of voltage drop. If you have any unexplained EFI behavior, or continue to have startup difficulty, I'd look at that. This made sense to me as Pertronix tells their customers the same thing; that the Pertronix typically burns out due to voltage drop on startup.
You're absolutely correct, I have a dedicated 10 Guage wire to battery for the Sniper PDM. I believe the issue was the start switch in ignition. Im moving to a dedicated switch and momentary start switch on my aluminum swotch panel on trans tunnel.
