Mustang Mach-E AWD - The TRUTH of living with an EV EP1

I have replaced my petrol car with the new 2022 Mustang Mach-E AWD for a week but what's it really like to live with an EV. Is it simply plug it in to charge and there is no difference? Its only 8 years before all new cars will have to be electric but how easy are they to live with ?

Nice but is it 50 grand nice? Almost twice the price of the Vauxhall Corsa-e, which does pretty much everything the Mustang MachE does. Is 25grand difference worth the added cool? If it's my money...no. Someone else paying...maybe.

It’s a big car, this was just over £50k and I would want the bigger battery option as well so even more. For an EV was good but as the video probably is showing the joy of charging for me at the minute rules out an EV. Not driven a corsa-E so difficult to compare

@@DamoDrives Well Vauxhall/ Pug/Citroën offering all have the same battery / motor so in all honesty they've got to be similar. 200 miles 50kwh etc . I have the Mokka-e. Styling wise the Mach E looks pretty neat. Red really suits it. I looked up Uckfield on WattsUp. Crowborough would seem to be your nearest fast chargers. Morrisons or Lidls.

Not sure why I did not notice the other charger but still over an hour as it’s 50kw but maybe with my limited milage per week that would work (although who wants to spend 50k to do 30 miles a week lol)

This intro is ridiculous. There's no way I'd buy any EV if this was my "every day" charging experience in the morning. Do yourself a favor and don't buy one if your morning is going to look like this. Have a garage? Can you put a NEMA 240v in it? Then by all means go ahead.

I did not know what the experience would Be like and a number of people who are not “car people “ I have spoken to assume it’s as easy to run as a petrol and don’t understand the charging side of things. 2 people I know want an EV but no where to charge it so it would be the same situation as me. I actually was going to order an EV in the coming weeks but after this experience I realise it would not work (until the public charging infrastructure is better and as long as the price per KW is not astronomical- have seen 1 company charge £1 per kw)
