Dior getting tangled in that white stand was an accidental masterclass in how well trained she is. No panic, no blow up, just waiting and willing to hear your next command. Excellent job Elisa, you are something special. When every mustang you train is labeled as 'special, outstanding, and one of a kind' by observers, you just know its the trainer those adjectives truly go to.
Very well said. I started watching about the time Wyeth and Eton came on board, and they were so different to each other (/understatement!). Dior was just as different in her own way. To see how Elisa finds each individual horse's language to speak to them in their own world, and gives them the time and space to "come around" is really eye-opening and beautiful.
I saw this up close and personal (1st row). I have to say Dior was one of the few horses that actually seemed to enjoy the work. Most of the other Mustangs (including the one that took first place) were pinning ears and seemed to go through the steps because they “had” to and not because they wanted to. You should have placed higher in the rankings, IMHO. Amazing to see Dior’s progress from day 1 to this performance.
Elisa is such a good horsewoman with all of her mounts reflecting the trust & confidence she instills in them. I watched Dior's cross country event video & was truly impressed by the athleticism & intelligence she displayed. Whoever gets this mare is one lucky person...good luck Dior..😍🐴💯
Beautiful to see you work with her - so proud of you both! She's so alert and calm and responsive in such a reactive environment. Nice touch with the sparkles in her mane and coat. ;) (Guessing the stand getting caught under her was not planned, LOL, which just shows how well-grounded she is.)
Hi again ELISA What a terrific job you've done with Dior from the beginning to this! She's turned out to be a calm and confident girl enjoying her work because of your TLC and excellent training. You are such a gifted equestrian in so many ways. Thx so much for sharing this. Even have a couple tears of joy for all you've accomplished with Dior. Will look forward to what you'll be doing going forward. Catcha then...
Look at that lovely little mare, so calm & confident, due to her wonderful training & natural mustang experience. Well done. P.S.---the unicorn may need a little TLC, though!
