I listen to Mustard Seed Faith often....I was saved in the summer of 77 and "Sail On Sailor" was one of the first albums my cousin turned me on to....it was a great time and good memory's....thank you for posting....GOD Bless
Though my parents went to church? I had a very abusive childhood, they had all these albums, Maranatha, praise albums, it was my comfort as a child in the 70s when this music was big.
wonderful .... thank you for taking the time to mention that .. it was a very hard road ... to make these records ... much resistance in the beginning ... no one wanted to hear long haired hippies sing rock, folk, country, jazz , you name it .. we were of the devil to so many ... till CCM figured out they could make big money .... all the money went to them .. but we ... in Mustard Seed Faith & so many other pioneers of this kind of music got the souls .... 1000's & 1000's of lives changed ... we are paid in full in this life & the next ..
I think so too ... & we wrote this one & recorded it years before Eric Clapton had to write the saddest song he ever will write tears in heaven .. Eric Clapton is a believe ... he know about hope ..
If only we had more of this type of music in the church today. Those who push against this format and sound are causing a "mosh pit" kind of worship, where folks stand at the front of the stage where they stick their ears into the speakers. And they wonder why there are now more cases of tinnitus and hyperacusis today, even hearing loss. This music ministers in a peaceful way. It's not noise, which the church should be fleeing from, not rushing to.
