Your channel is awesome mate, be patient with it because I can see the value in the content you are sharing! This is the real deal, heart of what Australia was built on. Good people working hard. On a side note, I appreciate your verbal skills, I find you very articulate and precise in how you speak and your choice of vocabulary! Thanks for your daily effort in sharing with us

When I was a stock agent I used to deal with a family who had a Santa bull and Hereford cows, beautiful cattle, so quiet you could literally pat them in the paddock, but when I went to draft their vealers off for market, those young cattle were mad as cut snakes in the yards !!!😂. Nice lot of cattle there Jack

I read somewhere that moving cattle clock wise was easier. We did it after that but who really knows.

You blokes have to master so many skills, city people have no idea how hard the country can be, and the effort,required to work out there.

I reckon you underestimate city folk. I'm a partner in an ADV tourism venture and thanks to TV, youtube, etc, most city folk have a good attitude towards how complex living and working in the desert is. Just look at the popularity of the lifestyle shows.

When we first started the business people would always say that water was the most essential survival item but these days half of them correctly pick "shelter" as the priority. the rule of three's, 3 hours without shelter, 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food.

Do you identify your cattle just by ear tags? From Canada where branding was and still is the most common way. You did mention having a neighbours animal

You might need to get a small esky cut a window in the side so the front of the GoPro can record but keep the rear end in the esky with a few ice cold blocks, just a thought .

I’ve see. In some of your videos the black earpiece thing that goes around the back of your head…what is that? Some form of ear protection?

Its a bluetooth headset, by Shokz, its really good because I can put in my earplugs and still listen to phone calls without the volume being turned up too far.

Off topic but is it true that AU has some kind of special formula for petrol, so the local tribal folks can’t huff it?
@nopharksgiven
@nopharksgiven 10 месяцев назад
Yes, They replace normal unleaded in some areas with low aromatic fuel (91) to try and kerb the rate of petrol sniffing by some of the indigenous population

Danny doesn't look overly confidant with the cattle, but i guess he will ease into it when he has to get a bit more up close and personal.

It's a sensitive subject here in Australia, despite them being overpopulated in these regions, there isn't enough done on the matter due to external pressure.
