Amazing how far technology has come in 25 years compared to the table hogger oscilloscopes. Great idea on phone or tablet screen protector cut to fit for the scope . I tend to leave the plastic screen protector they ship em with on em . Just for that reason . Love the channel , looking forward to the next video. And sure toss me in on that giveaway aswell. :)

Great honest review, thanks for showing the attenuation at around 50-60 MHz. Count me in for the draw! I'm getting started into electronics as a hobby and would be a great first oscilloscope to learn. Cheers mate

@14:00 you are looking at an alias there, as the timebase is set too slow for the freq, these lower cost units often alias like that and cause confusion.

As always your videos are great. I could really use the pro scope. My old Tektronix 2213a has almost completely died. The trace function went out and I'm down to guessing at the calibration. Take care everyone and have a safe 4th of July.

Hey Buddy! The battery in the MDS looks like it is a 18650 lithium-ion cell, or standard laptop cell. Yeah I'd be interested in the MDS! Hope all is well with you!

The old MDS120 and the new 120Pro is the same sceensize, 50 x 40 mm. The resolution is also the same 320 x 240. They just changed the bezzel around the screen so it looks larger. There are many improvements in the Pro version, but the screen is not one of them.

Nice little unit, not sure how they spec their BW ratings, haven't seen one of these yet that makes it to the spec. Sure, put me in for the drawing...I would give it to one of the newbies in our club's Builders Group.
