Shay Sade I am so for subscribed to your RU-vid channel, you are doing a great Job and you makes me feel happy being a nigeria boy, despite am born in France bred up in France but I am fully nigeria am so proud of it,love u sada from my bottom of my heart.
Wizkid's grind is defo untouchable at this point. He's mastered his craft and perfectly knows how to capture his fanbase's attention and give us proper music whilst staying authentic to himself. He's put Nigeria on the map and Africa as a whole equally. As for Manya, I'm hooked. 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
I agree on the that. Nigerians are proud of their roots. But with wizzy l expected 11/10 he's jujued everyone 😂😂😂😂. Any who check out melanin sautisol ×patoranking. Sade your "Tyrese " impressed again 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
I remember I first played this and I kept racking my brain because this is a Ghanaian song but I couldn't remember the name. Found it: ahomka wo mu - VIP. I also like this version though
Wizkid is not “above afrobeats and on a pop level”. That’s stupid cause it gives the impression that afrobeat is beneath pop and trust me it is not. It’s just not as popular
Manya means Drink (usually used to refer to Alcoholic drinks). The beat is a throwback to the Igbo Highlife music. That's music originating from the eastern part of Nigeria, he even throws in some Igbo words.
Prince Of Jah I didn't say it was an igbo song, I said the BEAT is a throwback to the igbo highlife and I went ahead to explain the part of Nigeria the highlife music I was referring to originated. If you pay attention he did sing some igbo lyrics in the song as well. Also Manya is an igbo word as I explained too in my previous comment
David ugwuanyi VIP was never signed to Kennis music. Final! And untill u can provide tangible evidence from the net that says otherwise, I will not believe that
from the caribbean islands and i grew up on beats just like this in our music....its called soca. outside of the language the music sounds 100% familiar.
I love this song, Amazingly and Ironically my surname is Manya. In my language Oshiwambo, which is a Bantu language Manya means Stone. What does Manya mean in a Nigerian dialect I presume?
you guys are very much biased to afro beats , we can hear the undertone and the problem is that you are overlooking The quality behind South African music
So I like that you guys are from different countries , working together, manh... that's just beautiful .. make the world a better place. Manya is a 9 for me
