Yes I! Awareness is key. We need to make time to confront our shadows & trauma through reflection & meditation. If we don't we just end up hurting those around us, be it physically or mentally. Poverty & negative programming of Babylon only serves to make the situation more painful.. Blessings on your journey 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💚💚💚✨✨✨🕊️
The highest achievement of any human being is self mastery. This only can obtained through the mastering of the mind with thoughts, feelings and actions. Change ur mind! Change ur life. 🇯🇲💯 blessed Muta
Physical or mental abuse comes in all shape & form. Most parents are dark & illiterate. Any abuse is abuse, sexual, financial, even self-abuse. But physical abuse is caused by mental stress or physical burden most of the time
I have been watching this mans page for some time now. He talks a lot of sense. If more people thought like him the world would be a safer and happier place.
Muta I have loved and followed your teachings and reasoned with you from time. But as someone who has worked in mental health, I am actually disappointed and quite frankly fed up with people EXCUSING WICKED AND EVIL BEHAVIOUR AS 'MENTAL ILLNESS'! Jamaica has a history of such barbarity such debauchery that was inflicted upon it by those Oyibo colonisers that the effects are transmuted through the wicked, heartlessness and low value on life, that we evidence in Jamaica! If there is a common denominator insofar as the era of the Maangamizi and mental health it is Post Traumatic Slavery Syndrome!
Thank you for your wise words, I think your absolutely right, I’ve lived in my flat for nearly eleven years and it’s driving me insane, the people next door are determined to crack me up with constant noise, I know that people’s minds are suffering and mentalities are very high, this place has never been a home, In fact I’ve lived in many flats and I’ve never felt it’s a home, instead of people pulling together , they’re taking things out on one another, I think humanity’s never been so bad, Hope things can improve very soon.........❤️❤️
Masquerade carnival ceremony, allows us to free up the spirit catch ourself as we connect to the best of our desires, through expression, that release stress, now been turmed us spiritual drama. That's part of our culture we see to it wherever we are and we need that connection and balance our well-being mind body and soul. Let's use what we have that exists already in our cutures. Peace.🌈
vitamin d is an essential hormone ...like a team missing the goalie or a family missing one parent.🙏.. much will fall through without intervention by the community.. people cheer up spectacularly with tons of (vitamin d )as sunshine! calcium d3 k2 tablets that are melting under the tongue quickly and don't taste like much more than honey
Yes the majority of the population are suffering with mental I'll health issues. We melanin rich original people, who have been present all over planet from ancient days. Knon by many name, (ab) Original, Kushites, Nubian, Ethiopian. We would be wise to look to our many cultures, and make a eclectic system that will take us into our glorious future. This is truly the way of the cultural continuity due to our sheared values. It is time now for us to our culture, to do the Sankofa, revisit gracious past which is the foundation for our, resilient present existence, which is the base for our prosperous future. Nothing new under the sun so let's utilise what we have and we recognise the cyclical world view, fuse the old with new and continue to allow our cultures to evolve. Peace Kuz Kush🌈
Some of the problem is financial, too much foolishness around that; so much is so expensive and there’s no “change of circumstances” built in to the framework, just gimme gimme gimme. 2Pac already said, push push push, gimme gimme gimme. Men now exposed to far too much women showing their backside all over unsocial media, it wasn’t new but seems to be increasing. Also you’ve got insecure people walking about the place, too much focus on Gender Neutral talk and not enough focus on being that which you are. Loads of things - I agree with Muta
🇯🇲 Elder Mutabaruka,🦁🎤❤ some kids are very stubborn, and unruly, and need the rod of correction every now and then ( a tap on the butt) when young, especially when reasoning is not a factor. Neglecting your duty as a parent, they will end up behind bars, or become a menace to society in their adult life, and by then the prison warden will be their guardian. My children, I just had to give that "look," the "stare"was always sufficient to stop any unwanted behaviour. Beating your child like the colonial masters' beat their enslaved is criminal, and yes it's usually due to stress and frustration by the parent, which does mimic a form of mental illness.🇯🇲
@Jacqueline Welch. The first part of your argument is flawed and full of holes!!! If the "rod" aka as beatings worked why then are so many Jamaicans who were beaten still committing violent acts??? Children grow into adukts who do the things to others that was done to them. FACTS!!! Look at the state of Jamaica and tell me that beating/abusing children work. It does not! People like you are hardwired through abuse to think that if you dont beat a child its neglect. IT IS NOT AND IT DOES NOT HELP! Children need patience, attention and love NOT physical abuse aka beatings. Children are stubborn and unruly because they are CHILDREN!!! We were all once children and we need to allow children to be children. Correction and guidance is more effective when shown through love not through the violent act of abuse!!!
@@oliwoodnorth2371 🇯🇲 What's going on in Jamaica is a buildup of many years of neglect from all the previous and current ruling administration, and I don't mean the Prime Minister, Andrew Holness, he's the mouthpiece for the current Administration. The cause of the violence in Jamaica, is not because of parent correction(by beating their children), it's a combination of proverty, badmind, misguided loyalty, dishonest politicians,TV, and internet. I agree with some of your points. However, where did I seh beat. I said a "tap," which gets their attention - and let them know they are being disobedient. Have you every had a birthday party for children under say 10- years-old? You will quickly know who was schooled from those who rule their household. Please reread my comment, I said when a child is young before you can have a conversation regarding what he or she might be doing wrong, you have to get their attention - by a "tap". I used the "look" and unblinking "stare" with my children. I repeat, you cannot reason with a toddler. You have to get their attention early, if you fail in that period of growing, lawd av mercy, bcuz dawg ah guh nyam yuh supa.🇯🇲
@@jacquelinewelch7635 Beat, tap....call it whatever you want its still an act of violence against a child and someone who is physically inferior to the adult/abuser. Your reasoning as to the causes of violence in Jamaica (bad minded...I had to laugh at this one, government administration etc )shows that you are either wilfully ignorant, misguided or simply unlearned. Where is the responsibility o the parents???? Violence is learnt behaviour....it has to be taught! Jamaican adults are easily triggered to act this way towards each other because they were taught this as children!!! Here in Canada my brother and his wife have raised 2 wonderful male children who are now successful adults WITHOUT EVER HITTING them even once!!!! My older brother was physically abused/beaten as a child in Jamaica but he chose to lead and raise his sons with love not with hate...physical abuse is hate!!! His wife (also Jamaican) was raised wigh love, never beaten. My older sister and her husband also raised their 2 children without ever abusing them...as did my cousins. I was raised in Canada by my mother so did not endure the physical violence aka beatings. They had memories of being severely beaten and made to feel less than human and being afraid as children and vowed never to do that to their kids. Break the cycle. Jamaican prisons are filled with men and women who used violence as their means. If beating children worked to steer them on the path if right, Jamaica would be a better place. Violence begets violence.
@@oliwoodnorth2371 🇯🇲 You appear to be of the mindset that I am promoting violence and beating of a child. I raised two children who were never beaten by no one. I also live innah foreign. You seem to be ignoring my amicable comment and want to vilify me. You are generalizing about your perspective on discipline. "Mi seh wen yuh pickney nuh ole ehnuf to understand kno - a "tap" on the butt is okay in my book. A "tap" on the butt is not a beating. Mi gaan!🇯🇲
Well I tell you muta they cause and choose who who they want to win or lose I work hard I have ambitions and they have stopped me from manifesting them yes I do shout and rave at them all I can do is love myself no matter what they say or do

Muta is now a psychologist?? Tell us something we don't know oh great one. While police murder innocent blacks and blacks murder each other with impunity, this is his concern. The reason is he is like all other black men who simply talk the problem, but offer no insight into any solutions. That truly is a mental issue to keep talking about problems for ever expecting different results.
@@clairedaniels1877 black men talk too much about things we already know. I need black men to talk about how we are going to end our socioeconomic problems, police brutality, deplorable conditions of our communities, educational and health issues affecting our communities. Lastly, how we can protect our women and children from the evil societies we find ourselves in.
@@rlinton123 We need to fix our homes first. Our upbringings are very harmful to the community. It’s the reason why the community looks the way it does. This includes the white religions we take on and the male gods we worship.
