✮ A physical modeling phenomenon. Excite a material with some sort of energy input (a slap, a rub, a blow) and you’ll get a noise. Nothing wrong with that grammar, just because you expected a different phrase doesn't make it wrong or different. "Free your mind and your ass will follow" xD

@@Barefoot_Joe The problem is that leastly isn't an English word. It is correct to say "Last but by no means least", which is a standard expression. As "last but by no means least" is an adverbial, there is no need to add the suffix -ly, and it is incorrect to do so. I certainly agree that, in general, minds should be freed so that asses can follow, but you can't change the principles of English grammar. You cannot add the suffix -ly to a word that is already part of an adverbial! Similarly, it is incorrect to say/write: "He ran fastly down the street." Why? Because fast in that sentence is already an adverb. George could also have said: "Last but not least".

Been battling for many hours trying to install Softube Modular on my Macbook Pro together with this module and Clouds but have had no success whatsoever in getting it to work or even appear in either Logic or Ableton. Though the Modular plugins are present in the VST/component folders neither DAW will recognise them. No useful insights either from the Softube support service that have so far worked. Anyone else had problems. An internet search suggests this is a very widespread issue that is not resolved by the support service. Using Softube Central shows the modules present and licensed/activated

Yup I’ve got the ES-3, MOTU Ultralite mk4 and a hardware modular and it all works great together. Just wish it had more inputs.

I do like Mutable Instruments stuff, but why keep releasing them on Modular when way more of their modules are already available in VCV rack for free? Why not nab exclusives from other module developers that we couldn't get any other way?

There are no presets in Softube’s preset browser, but I found a few presets in the list provided by my DAW (Logic Pro X in my case). Hope that helps.

@@SoftubeStudios But does NKS integration allow for this? Komplete Start from NI comes out this February, together with Komplete Kontrol app, and it seems you can use whatever midi controllers you have with it. Also, another question: hardware Rings reduces the quality of each voice to cope with the polyphony - how it is handled in Softube Modular?

No brainer and insta-buy -- thx for the good vid. Pity though that Softube doesn't change anything about the interface... MIDI learn would be a biggy indeed. Or a button to hide/show all cables and flex them. Or a copy/paste modules, one-click move & delete. Or a way to add text notes to a patch. Or one of a zillion other obvious interface improvements, some of which can't be that hard to implement. Feels a bit like a half-finished cash-cow now... even though it all does sound fabulous.
