Arguably one of the most exciting, innovative, truthful bands alive. They honestly give me hope for the future of our currently-confused-and-inane music scene!
Darren King, Thomas Pridgen, Jimmy Chamberlain and Jon Theodore are my favourite drummers of all time, excluding the jazz legends. Words can't comprehend.
these guys are so talented. darren king, amazing drummer paul meany, amazing singer, greg hill, awesome guitarist roy mitchel-cardenas, sometimes plays fretless bass, therefore, he's awesome.
@McBlobby3 Are you talking about the live versions? Because they recorded that long before Roy ever joined the band. Jonathan Allen is the bassman on that track. As in, Jonathan Allen of Club of the Sons!
It's called a Helpinstill Roadmaster. There is a 64 key version and an 88 key version - it looks like this is the 64. It's very similar to a Yamaha CP-60 - acoustic strings and piezo a big to an XLR out. It looks like he is just playing it acoustically though. The best part is that the keyboard folds down into the body in one motion and it turns into a big box. I used to be able to fit mine in my hatchback. I played one for years both on stage and on the street. I'm so mad I sold it.
@jesalbert1 He said "that's Greg Hill (guitarist) playing the science fair" I'm not sure if he actually said science fair or something else, I have no idea what that instrument is called haha.
@leslifrancs He's playing the kick with the same hand hes using for the snare and instead of crossing his hands and having the hi hat on the right he just put it on the left so his hands wouldn't get tangled playing the bass and snare
looks like he's just getting feedback from it.... they're known for tweaking electronics of things to get different sounds... they have that one instrument thats made out of an old atari console.
