Mutton Marag
Ingredients:-
Mutton with Bone - 1kg
Ghee - 2 tb spn
Onion - 2
Pepper- 1 tsp
Whole garam masala - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tb spn
Mint leaves- Handful
Coriander leaves- Handful
Curd - 1 cup
Water - 1 litre
Cashew nuts - 2 tb spn
Milk - 1/2 cup
Fresh cream - 1/2 cup
Salt - To Taste
Brown onions- For Garnish
Method:-
In a pressure cooker add ghee, onions and saute till golden brown, then add pepper , whole garam masala, mutton and roast for 3-4 minutes. Then add ginger garlic paste, green chillies,mint leaves, coriander leaves curd and cook it for 5 minutes.
Now add water till the mutton pieces are submerged. And pressure cook it for 3-4 whistles till the mutton is cooked to tender. Then in a mixer add cashew nuts and milk grind it into a fine paste. Add this to the mutton; add fresh cream and salt.
Adjust the seasoning and add fresh mint and coriander leaves and switch off the flame
Serve with Naan Bread and garnish with brown onions
