Mutton pulao is a delightful rice dish made with tender pieces of mutton (goat or lamb) cooked together with fragrant spices and aromatic basmati rice. Here’s how it’s typically prepared:
𝗠𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀:
Cooking oil : 1/2 cup
Onion: 1 large size
Fry onion until color changes to golden brown
Black pepper: 12, Cumin: 1 tsp, Bay leaf: 2, Cinnamon: 1
Mutton : 500 gram
Cook mutton until color changes to white
Ginger and garlic paste : 1 tbsp
Coriander powder : 1 tsp
Cumin powder : 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder : 1 tsp
Salt : 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder : 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder : 1/4 tsp
Now cook it for 2 to 3 minutes
Yogurt : 1/2 cup
Tomato chopped : 2 medium size
Fresh chilies : 3 to 4
Now cover it and cook it on medium low flame for 3 minutes
Water : 5 cup
Now cover it and cook it on medium low flame for 35 to 40 minutes
Basmati rice : 2 cup (soaked for 30 minutes)
Now cover it and cook it until rice soaked whole water
Totoal cover timing : 15 minutes
First 10 minutes : low flame
Next 5 minutes : flame off
