Brandon Fire's Tanker, Cougar and Ambulance 2-2 responding along with CFB Shilo Emergency Services Red 17 and Red 18 (range tenders) operating on scene of a grass/brush fire east of Brandon.
Crews were working just off of Veterans Way, about a half a mile east of the Chater turn off (Hwy 468).

They are some impressive rigs! Going into the bush and effortlessly making their own path as they flow water, awesome tool.

Yeah they've got some really nice equipment out there. These range tenders look so beastly. Perfect for what their intended to do! Caught a video of a few of their other trucks a number of years ago that's pretty cool, here's the link to it if you feel like checking it out. Great catch! I heard about the fire, didn’t think it got that big though. Nice to see the grassland trucks getting some action.
