Thanks for the great ideas, one idea you could try in the future for installing the anchor bolts is to actually use your drill. After you have pre-drilled your holes put the bolt into the chuck of the drill and use the power of the drill to screw the bolt in. Even if you need to take the bolt out to press the cable into it the hole will have the threads to follow when you put it back in.
I used my cordless drill to screw in the lag screws and it saved a lot of time and wrenching. I'm also using 3/16" cable, and it's pretty much impossible to feed it through the holes in the posts, without a tool. My tool was a piece of thin wall brass tubing that I made a couple of razor saw cuts on the end, and flared the four segments out. The end of the cable fit in the flare and the tool guided it through the post without any wires getting hung up. It worked great. Thanks for recommending the Muzata brand. It's a great value.
@@TomsTechniques meaning you put the anchors in your drill chuck, tightened on the wrench flange, and screwed it in that way? If so, that's a brilliant idea that I never even thought of
