This is the GranCabrio MC so less performance orientated and more the top down/sound. The Granturismo MC Stradale is the version thats most performance orientated with the race mode, carbon ceramic brakes , ferrari 599 gto gearbox etc. Performance is 0-100 (4.5secs) top speed 190mph, top gear did a comparison of this car with the c63 black series years ago.
Great review. Love that you had the window open so we can hear the sound. Also I’m pretty sure this is a Gran Turismo MC and not a stradale. The stradale has a Ferrari 599 GTO gearbox.
Sorry to say, but this is not the MC Stradale! It is the GranCabrio MC. The MC Stradale is a Coupé, has a manual gearbox, carbon ceramic brakes, 1cm wider tires on all corners, is 300kg lighter and provides for a more direct and truly visceral driving experience. This car shown here is a convertible, has a boring conventional torque converter, steel brakes, 1cm thinner tires, is 300kg heavier and a relatively „underwhelming“ driving experience in comparison... Someone did not do his homework before buying the car, or is clickbaiting...
Great honest video. If you love the sound then take the central resonator out and swap it for an x-pipe, only a few hundred AUD and it will make your downshifts and overruns unbelievable but quiet in non-sport mode. By the way Maserati make it hard, it’s an MC with the Stradale body kit on it. Only the coupe version was a real Stradale. Unlike the convertible you couldn’t spec a coupe Sport MC auto with a Stradale body kit. Real Stradale’s worldwide only came as coupe (2 and then 4 seat) and with a robotised manual single clutch gear box. Any convertibles with Stradale kit I’m pretty sure worldwide never got the robotised manual.
@@CS-oo9tu it is a legitimate stand-alone version which is why it is called MC and not MC Stradale. Some market got the MC in coupe and/or convertible form. Markets which got the MC in coupe form never got the MC Stradale.
You better do your homework. There is no GranTurismo with a manual gearbox! All come as auto - either a ZF or an MC shift, but none is manual. The original MC Stradale is honestly useless as it has only 2 seats and the difference in driving experience is truly marginal.
