The symbolism in this video is really interesting. As others have mentioned, this song is about Hwasa talking to herself and trying to bolster herself. It's kind of all about the heartlessness and ruthlessness of the music industry and critics and how you have to basically destroy yourself to please them. But in this song/video, Hwasa is telling herself, "Let's not do that - you're worth so much more than that." Which is why we get the scene with her in the straight jacket cowering from pencils, but subsequently, then her freeing herself from the straight jacket and wearing it as fashion. She's very open about the toxicity of this life, her struggles living through it, and her goal of standing out from it. I love her for stuff like this. At the end, she's joined by her fellow group members, who all come to happily hang out with her and give her presents u.u Showing that, ultimately, they are her support and her friends and a great source of happiness for her.

NANIs!!! Mamamoo are K-pop's absolute vocal queens!! Hwasa was instantly my favorite. NOBODY on earth looks THAT badass and gorgeous!! She gives me vibes of like Raquel Welch early 60s. With vocals to match. I TOTALLY don't get her not fitting Korean beauty standards. She is her own standard. SHE IS 500% WOMAN!!! She particularly flaunts her body in these MVs. You get a lot of top to bottom, head to toe shots of her in firm fitting clothing. We know it's because Trolls continually attack her. NO WOMAN EVER looked this impressive.
