I'm here after watching build up...the number of views makes me a little sad. The song is good and the mv is so pretty, it deserves more. Donghun looks so beautiful! Delicate and intense at the same time, a little surprise compared to his gentle ballad singer image from build up. His voice sounds very different too, I thought he naturally had a deeper voice but the fact he sang like that on purpose makes him even more impressive. Ah I really think I fell for him...

Someone commented how this song had no rap parts which I didn’t even realize even after the many times I listened to it. That’s why byeongkwan and sehyoon shine so much. Because their vocals are extremely noticed since usually they are in charge of the powerful rap parts but now their soft and beautiful and powerful vocals shine so much. Byeongkwan and sehyoon have always been part of a.c.e’s vocal line but now they can show how they are truly main vocals in addition to main rappers

I feel like within the kpop community everybody knows or has heard of ace but somehow never talk about them which honestly sucks cause they deserve the world! The amount of talent, amazing music, vocals and dance gives me goosebumps

As long as I know I am following not only a talented group but artists who are genuinely passionate in what they do and really care about their fans. It was my best choice to become a Choice. Such a warm and tight-knit fandom with almost zero drama and negativity. My only regret is that I didn't follow them sooner. This MV is truly stunning! Everyone killed those vocals. I am an ARMY who only recently discovered A.C.E. (when Goblin/Favorite Boys dropped), but it's obvious that they all have so much passion and talent. I hope they get recognized for it with this comeback!

All of you new people, you should visit their other MVs too. You will be amazed by the diversity of concepts and the aesthetics, story, the general artistry they put into making them, plus the boys are all just too handsome (they are actors too btw) 😆They can pull off hardstyle, fantasy, drama, etc. They deserve to be recognized for these. Even their songs that are not title tracks are ear candies (Personal faves: Baby Tonight, Slow Dive, clover, stand by you). They also have International collabs with Steve Aoki, Grey, Hcue (damn Junhee is too hot here) too. Talentwise, all their covers, lives, and even predebut videos can speak for that. Their variety shows and drama appearances are serotonin boosters too. Plus, stan Beat Interactive. Their styling, musical arrangements, CHOREOGRAPHIES, sets are topnotch. Out of A.C.E’s title tracks, this one is definitely a new side of them! It’s not as intense in the way that their other tracks are, but I really like this one. It has taken me a couple of listens to be able to comprehend the melody and the structure of the song, but it’s so great. Higher is a bit more subtle in sound. The background instrumentals and beats mixed with A.C.E’s beautiful vocals. You can’t even compare it to their other songs because they are so different. I’m glad to see A.C.E showing their other musical and artistic sides. A.C.E first win hwaiting!

Omg Donghun looks so pretty here!! I love the ponytail. But seriously this one of the prettiest concepts I've seen from a boygroup.

If anyone's interested in a theory: A.C.E are basically mermen who live under water, where most of the MV takes place. But one day, they saw a person above the surface, represented by the moon, and fell in love at first sight. The song and MV deals with their longing for this person and them going "Higher" and eventually above this surface in order to see this person again. They reach the above/the surface during the last chorus, where they are depicted dancing in nature. Before this, they were trapped under water which was, among other things, portrayed by them fighting under veils in the MV. But since they had already fallen in love with "the moon", best portrayed by Chan swallowing it while insinuating that love is like a drug and vital for survival, they can now not live in its absence. The absence of the moon under water is represented by the solar eclipse. Overall, we might say that the moon in the MV represents choice - and no matter what or who will stop them, A.C.E want to reach us and our hearts with their music. A.C.E x Choice are fated to be forever☆

Okay , I hesitated to write it cause it is obvious and everyone else basically said what I wanted to convey about this stunning ,aesthetically spectacular M/V and the song itself but ...Donghun looks so gorgeous and unearthly in this music video .There was always something ethereal about his beauty but here he looks almost unreal . Everything in the MV and concept photos is related to the oceans and everything is so cohesive and put together. From the make-up to the clothes, jewelry, hair and props, it all ties together. All the spherical elements (pearls all around, moon, water bowl, water bubbles), the shells, water ripples, blue colors. I LOVE THIS! ACE are concept kings and I love the execution and idea of male sirens.

Personally, the thing the sets this song for me more than how it was technically built and layered is that it speaks a lot of unspoken words. Story of the siren's dawn. The desire to go higher and move forward at any stake as long as is what your heart wants, the desperation, and the passion in their voices really isolate me into this emotional box-- rather than being a heavy feeling, it is much more inspiring, beautiful, and human. It resonates well with them. A.C.E has been going on in the industry for years and despite not getting a lot of attention when they deserve it so much, they've been consistently breaking their boundaries and outdoing themselves. Their aim to go higher has been unwavering. This is their craft. This is their passion and no one can't take that away from them. They are not just artists but people who are capable of telling a story and this song is definitely a very good expression of it.
