On the day I rode this MV Agusta F3 800 Rosso, I had also ridden the Turismo Veloce, hence the slightly odd start to this video.... Also I didn't have the gear to attach a 2nd camera on this ride, sorry!
I had been hoping to ride this bike for quite a long time - it's been a while since I've had some time on a proper, modern sports bike. And being an 150bhp 800, there was the potential to use and enjoy more of the bikes performance on the road compared to a 200bhp 1000cc bike. I hope you like the video! Super pleased to have found your video...I bought a pre-reg 2022 F3 Rosso from Completely Motorbikes in Gloucester yesterday! It was a bit of an impulse purchase, so I haven't seen it or even ridden a F3 before (or even any MV Agusta). I can't wait to get hold of it 😃 Thanks for the great, detailed review!

It's almost like a bespoke italian GSXR750. Same braking set up with Brembo calipers and Nissin master, albeit with much upgraded calipers. Same hp and nearly the same torque output. Just with one less cyl and with so much more tasty bespoke parts. I love these so much, but in NZ not really a maintainable bike (practically no dealerships). I would imagine parts availability and reliability has gone up since KTM has aqquired them. Love this bike so, so much.

Yeah.. Great bike.. Like a Ferrari i imagine.. But living with one isn't perfect. Was sad to sell mine made a farewell video for mainly my own nostalgia.. But i didnt regret my decision .. It just wants more and more of you i can see why there are many wrecking parts available... invincible until your not! Thats why i sold in the end ... Great bike.🎆

Yeah good point... I found that even the 2019 S1000R was not very exciting to ride unless you were going fast enough to end up in big trouble! I can understand why you went the way of the Indian afterwards while I went towards the big boxer 1250. But if I had the money this would make an incredible bike for track days.

@@RikkyTang Funny aye, the evolution of motorcycle ownership.. And now I'm considering the s1000r for the very reason it is easy, intuitive, planted and very capable when pressed. You said something about the mv that hooked me from the 1st kilometer of my test ride too, it was a heart decision, the air induction the way that triple makes its power and the handling is an emotional experience... Unlike the s1000r i thought.. That is very good with nothing bad to say, an instrument, a tool that you the operator would be able to sync with easily... A totally different experience. If i end up with one i can imagine the bond grows as it does with my scrambler... Or i try a ducati v2 panagali??? Lol . the f900r ... A moden day nuda but heavier and they dropped the trellis frame and correct me if im wrong but less powerful than105bhp 105nm 179kg of a nuda. I Love they will be developing a f900r cup racing.

Very nice. Looks & sounds amazing but haven't got a hope of owning one any time soon. I think I'd go for the Dragster or Brutale 800cc RR versions if I had MV money.

They do seem to be a step above the usual, and yes that makes them difficult to afford, but I'm still dreaming! Hopefully the 2023 range of MV will arrive at Completely Motorbikes MV this year and if any of the bikes you mentioned are available as a demo, I will grab a ride!

Beautiful. This must be the No 1 sports bike right now. Just the right length for test ride, no need to keep talking, 15--20mins. Is this the base model, or is there one lower?

Hi there, this is the base model - in 2022 it's called the F3 Rosso but in 2023 it gets some updates and will be called the F3 R. Now if I understand you correctly, you would have preferred if I had kept quiet during the ride so you can hear more of the bike? I'm afraid that talking through my test rides is what I do as you'll see if you take a look at all my other reviews. For bike videos without talking may I suggest you take a look at a guy called Schaff on You Tube. You'll love his videos 😊

Rikky mate I would sell my soul to have an MV in my garage ,to me they are mobile works of art don't know how reliable they are but who cares just awesome bikes .Hey it might even be enjoyable to break down on one 😉just to sit and admire it .I was looking at a naked one the other day in a showroom dueling at what could be but alas to tall for me and way out of my budget I am sad to say .Great to see this one though 👌👍

It's not too bad for a sports bike, the ergonomics are not extreme but if you are coming from a naked bike for example it will feel quite different to begin with. I prefer more upright bikes but I think I could see myself owning one of these :)
