That's technically nothing new nor particularly interesting- I mean consider Tzuyu from Twice, Seventeen's China line... a lot of groups these days have at least one non-Korean member and many of them debut in Japan, too.

I really don't know why this group isn't very popular in Korea. Their songs are great. I love all of their songs. I haven't found one girl group where I find all their songs great. But for dreamcatcher I find all of them great. This group needs more fans. ♥️
maybe because rock isn't that popular in korea, also the fact that they came from a small company makes it a little bit harder to be known in korea. But they're growing!
You are just like me. I also listened to other kpop groups, which some songs are great, but a lot of their other songs does not stick to me. But different from DC, which I love 90% of their songs, including their B side
Also DC's style is kinda singular among the numerous girlgroups out there. I think maybe people either love it or either it's not their thing. For my part I love all of them too ♥

But then i remember the girls already say they'll stick to the rock and be experimental with other genres And of course the concept can be changes as they cant stay as a nightmare forever. Usually when kpop group try to enter Japan market, they always change their tune to something cuter or feminine. I like how Dreamcatcher still maintain their pop rock tunes and still slay!
@@simplymulti4 I'm talking about girl groups in general. TWICE japanese single such as "ONE MORE TIME" and "CANDY POP" and "BRAND NEW GIRL" are basically the same cute tunes. TWICE korean singles are much more experimental (although it's still cute) such as "SIGNAL" and "LIKE OOH AHH" and "FANCY" and "DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY". The same thing goes for RED VELVET. RV first Japanese single is "#Cookie Jar" followed by "Sappy" (I like em tho) Again, if you compared to their korean releases, "Power Up" and "Bad Boy" and "Zimzalabim" and "Psycho", you can see that they are much more likely to experimental. I*Zone "Suki to Iwasetai" and "Buenos Aires" and "Vampire" is meh compared to their Korean releases. There's nothing with cute tunes, they just trying to cater to Japanese audiences. But they kinda toned down the dance moves and songs quality. That's it. Also for reference, you can compare SNSD Japanese and Korean single.
To the surprise of absolutely no one, Siyeon absolutely slays this song. I dunno why but that single black sleeve she’s wearing just fits her so well and gives her a little extra edge.
"Breaking Out" is a lesser known beautiful Dreamcatcher song, in Japanese, that concludes the whole Nightmare Series (originally the Nightmare Quartet) with a happy ending. It corrects the anticlimactic ending of "Piri" and gives fans the whole story - that's hinted in the end of "Piri" when they join hands. In "Breaking Out", Dreamcatcher manage to cut loose from the red threads of Destiny and are joined together (storywise) for the first time since "You and I", when Yoohyeon was trapped inside the Nightmare (the Japanese version of the song is included in the same album, "The Beginning of the End").
I prefer this much more to the alternate ending thing which makes this ending feel less genuine. The Nightmare girls deserve freedom. It's such a good story honestly I miss this era...
Underrated, yet inspirational MV. Heart-warming the way the members are reaching out to help each other cross the gulf between them. And in the end they are all together. :)
Maybe I'm thinking about this the wrong way, but I just realized that the threads are visually reminiscent of the tangles of an actual dream catcher while the ring they form in the end could be seen as the central ring of a dream catcher.

Really I think DC is the best kpop girl group of this generation, but why does our fandom always have a hard time streaming their MVs? You & I still haven't reached 10M! I know that you guys are amazing by buying their albums and going to their concerts, but Insomnia has to improve in playing their videos, we are still small but we must be strong, we can not keep staying that way.
Most of the people who stan are adults, so they have the money to support them by buying albums and attending concerts but might not have enough time in their day to st*eam the MV

Dreamcatcher can be in any concept, but no kpop groups can be like Dreamcatcher concept (dark,mystery,epic and dope,) for every album. Dreamcatcher really has it own style.

Never saw this comment before but I can confirm lol. I spread their Japanese music to weebs lol, I don't tell them they are debuted in Korea until I know they are invested. Suptisingly a lot of weebs hate Kpop, they don't realize a lot of Kpop idols are Japanese and a lot of jpop is done by Kpop idols

Song is fantastic. Once again, Dreamcatcher has killed it. But also credit to the people in charge of writing the songs, the unsung heros, they continue to write songs that fit Dreamcatcher so perfectly.
