small companies don't have the funds to make back to back comebacks sadly (unless they're a bad small company that mistreats their artists^^) they just recently debut in Japan last November (check out their song Catch me! it's a bop~) they planned to make an early 2020 comeback so let's hope they're preparing well to comeback very soon! ^^

I actually did my research on when they have comebacks. This isn't that unusual for Favorite, they tend to have a long break periods in between comebacks: They debuted on July 5th 2017 with 'Party Time' Their 1st comeback was on May 10th 2018 with 'Where are you from?' Then they had their most recent comeback on Jan 15th 2019 with 'Loca' I'm not sure but I think they had a few Japanese comebacks??? Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't like how Favorite is being managed. They have sooo much potential in Korea, but their company is putting that all to waste. Anyway, hope that they will get a comeback soon. I really miss them

And it's actually hard for a small company to give comebacks frequently. But I want to see them back lol. And the results of local is not bad so I think give them cb more frequently can let their popularity grow

Their company really knows how to use the money (crowdfunding) and choose the songs wisely. This title song is very catchy and rest of songs from the album are high qualities as well. I've known them since their debut album, that album got good qualities, too. 👍👍👍 By the way, you will be surprised that their final crowdfunding number is only US$10,326.31 and making such good album and music video.

Life isn't fair. When it comes to these kinds of things, a lot of it comes down to marketing and promotion. Which obviously means groups from bigger companies have an advantage. However, saying popularity over talent makes no sense. Popularity is a result of something, whether it is skill in ther field, marketing, charm, whatever. Talent and popularity are not factors that you can just pit against each other. It's not like they never come together, either.

Ikr, their pre-debut name (A*Story and A*Story Girls) was much better. Thankfully the company gives the albums and songs words that dont play good with Favorite. Their official Twitter account hasn't posted anything since April. They might have disbanded (usually idols post in social media frequently, months of inactivity is usually a bad sign). If they did disband, there's been no official announcement so far :(( It's too bad since we could've heard more from Leez and Ollounder producing these types of songs too.

This proof that good song alone isn't enough to top the charts. Publicity and marketing play a major part in a group's success. If we go by the standard, this song should top the charts for weeks.

I don't think it's just "a major part". It's THE part. Former k-pop idols have said, what makes a group successful or not is the promotion and contacts in the industry. The groups who became big without that were rare exceptions.
