Every time I'm watch this clip I cried 😭😭😭,how come the pain can pierce through my heart too. Less romantic scene between Hodong and jamyung I'm so attached to them And this song is the exact representation of their love story.i can feel their love for each other but at the same it's so painful.if only Hodong has more power maybe just maybe they don't have to die.

I watched this drama more than 10 years ago. But I've never forgotten it, because this is the first Korean drama I saw on television and it's bring me to Korean movies world. Now, the main casts have been very famous, Jang kyung Ho, Park Min Young,... I remembered that I was so sad because of the ending.

I watched this drama at my grandmother house with a simple TV in simple room and I felt sooo happy .... My grandmother passed away 10years ago.. yet I still feel how much lucky that time My grandmother house was a place where I knew Korea and K-pop and SUPER JUNIOR ❤️🥺 #2007 #2008 #2009

6 years before now I watched this drama I was in high school at that time every day in the early morning before going to school i was watching this drama it was good days good memories for the sake of these beautiful days I'm rewatching this now in July 2016 favourite drama and ost

This was really an underrated drama. It was one of the first (other than daejanggeum) that helped spark my interest in watching Korean sageuks. Putting aside the beautiful music and costuming, I thought the romance plot was one of the most satisfying to watch - the pacing, development of feelings, addition of secondary loves, and jealousy moments were great. Outstanding acting all around from the less major characters as well. I just finished rewatching the drama a 3rd time, and I never rewatch dramas. Even having watched countless dramas since 2009, this one remains a gem to me for some odd reason - I am always drawn back to remembering how it made me feel while watching it. The gutwrenching ending was tragic yet beautiful, one of those endings that makes me think about the entire drama even days after I complete the series. I wish there was a continuation of their love story, yet what kind of continuation would have been possible? Thank you to Jamyung and Hodong for creating a timeless representation of love for me. As much as people say that dramas give unrealistic expectations of reality, where's the harm in hoping for that in real life, so long as it's positive? You can't land high if you don't aim high :)

My favorite drama.😭 It's still the best drama for me after all these years. I miss jung ryeowon and jung kyungho.

The drama was underrated because of Queen Seondeok which aired at the same timeslot. So Queen Seondeok was epic and people just forgot about this drama. I watched both but I also found it good. I loved the male actor Hodong and that girl but what I didn't like is, Hodong didn't get rewarded for the hardwork to build and expand Goguryeo. He would have been the next King of Goguryeo just like how Deokman became Shilla ruler (Yeowang) .

It's 2021 and I just finished binge watching this drama again. After all these years and the numerous times I've watched this, I still love it and is still only one of the few kdramas where I can rewatch it multiple times.

Best drama ever. I have watched a lot of dramas but this struck my heart I have just watched it the second time yet I don't usually rewatch movies. I wonder why it was even cut to 39episodes. It's just too attractive. I just fell in love with puku and hodong. If they can't renew the series at least let's see another drama with puku and hodong in it. It is lovely i may rewatch third round.

Watching this for the first time was when I was in junior high school, it's been dozens of years but the feeling is still there, I don't know why I miss this Drama so much . Princess Jamyung is one of my favorites ❤, the ost still feels so sad it makes me remember their love story with a painful ending 😭❤️

This ost is my most favorite. It sounds more understanding for a romantic theme song that's played for both Jamyung/Puku and Hodong who share deep understanding where they feel free and true to themselves, and true love for one another despite the obstacles. And the fact that they played this song in the end of the series shows that.
