This song is for fans. They didn't promote this. I don't think this is something they ever did before, a song so laid back and light, vocal wise & music wise. But I guess it's intentional. Like you said, this is just Mamamoo being themselves, showing mostly their personalities, something that would make Moomoos happy watching them happy. I myself find it enjoyable.

This is a song that can save my awful day. The atomosphere is very relax and even beltings are smoothly embedded. It is also dynamic and carefully crafted as it connects parts from different members just like they are having fun together. I have checked lyrics of the song and many sentences are sang by 2-3 members separately. Like playing card games throwing cards one by one, or girls chat together and complete each others' sentences. Be careful, some of the English translations are not completely correct in details in terms of dividing parts for different members, mostly because of the order of the words in a sentence is different in Korean and English. Besides, the MV is also well-arranged and I like it a lot just like a moomoo trip in a resort. There is another performance video, and choreographers of the song JJ and Lia Kim from 1 Million studio just released their teaching video.
The song is for fans its kinda part of their anniversary project. it was just a song to tell moomoos they love us and just them having fun. And yes Hwasa’s hair is blue but it looks black in the video sometimes

i can say this songs were gonna pop up in your head at some time. especially the 'mumumumuch' part. its slowly addicting. also could label as kids friendly songs, the vibe just happy and it got sudden random voice? kids were hook.

This is a special Mamamoo song for me, mostly due to this is when I had MY Mamamoo moment. I think it was hearing the song come on my playlist, then checking the MV, then for some reason going to their Mamamoo TV episodes for the filming of this. Seeing how they acted (first up was Hwasa pulling the leg off the duck!) and realising these women had personalities I HAD to understand! Before this moment I had heard some songs, quite liked Twit and Maria and had heard a few others but never realised). I previously always got them confused with Momoland just because of the name. I love the theme of the song and the imagery of the film clip and the chorus, otherwise I will agree it’s fairly straightforward and not grabbing like other songs, but it does have a place in my heart and I always smile when it comes on.

Mumumumuch is an amalgamation of all the best Mamamoo songs. You're not the first person to say that it's not your fave song of theirs but I bet there's an element of your fave song in it. 😂 This is the fan song that you can actually put on repeat without getting in your feelings too much(I love too, Star Wind Flower Sun) or without getting too annoyed(I'm your fan). Honestly, my standards for fan songs is really high because of Backstreet Boys's Larger Than Life, a song that I listen to to this day. In K-Pop fan songs tend to be on the sentimental side and I like a balance of sentimental and celebratory vibes. Mumumumuch is the 1st Mamamoo fan song to strike that balance. It's not a proper title track though and I hope no one was disappointed by it. Nothing has gone right for Mamamoo in terms of releases this year and I'm honestly glad we got anything at all.
Hwasa’s hair is actually blue there. Her hair color indoor looks like black but outside the blue color shine (Just like byuls blue hair on Yes I Am era) u can see her blue hair on the recent mmmtv ep.
Hwasa's hair was definitely blue at the time! That colour grading just helped it pop a lot more. in the other scenes you can see that because it's so thick it actually looks a look darker like it's just her normal black hair. It's easier to see if you watch the Dingga draft ver MV that they released on her birthday! As well as the Hula Hoops MV where she collabed with DPR Live and Beenzino.

It wasn't my favourite when I first heard it either (okay, still not ultimate, nr 1, fave of all etc), but after a couple of listens I "kinda felt like putting it on", you know? It's my go-to happy maker now. To think I would resist that roller-disco baseline 🙄... But I prefer it that you mean what you say and say what you mean 💐 - yay sayers can't be trusted.
