+Nusly Paola Carbajal Dylan is the best in terms of reacting on SNSD videos and also Hannah May. Others are just freaking out when their bias shown up but no reaction on other members so the whole reaction is boring.
First thing I noticed was the dance line getting more lyrics to sing finally. As a Yoonaddict I was very pleased with this song as my bias finally got more than just "oh yeah" for once.
This is the first time that they've ever just... went completely HARD in choreography. Like even when they were singing their solo parts, they were still MOVING. And as a dancer, this choreography is HARD. It's not even easy to follow like IGAB was (very intricate but the breakdown was easier because the song was slower). ITNW has a lot of jump movements and leg extensions and is also really difficult but this is next level. I'm anxious to see how they would perform this (even though I know that they're not promoting this in South Korea).
SNSD is really CMIYC in the K-pop industry..xD Queens say "actions speak louder than words." And I love how they always comeback with different styles of music, concept category. Personally I think this song is teasing all haters.
The dance line having so many lines impressed me too! Its like Sm give us all we always wanted! (except for jessica -_-) So for me this MV IS ALMOST PERFECT!!!!
At first when I watched it I focused more on the dancers getting lines than paying attention the song...but I love it now! I LOVE that the dancers got more lines and they proved that they can carry a song as well!! And I love the Teayeon/Sooyoung parts a the end. Great video!!
I think Hyo Yoona Yuri and Soo got more lines because.... Jessica isn't there... This is what I hoped for the 4 of them when I heard what Sica left. (Sica bias)
Me too. And I think they do take over Sica's line in the song (the song was recorded before Sica left, they already mentioned CatchGG in the video that they announced the Tokyo Dome concert, and Sica was still in GG)
when I heard that Sica officially left SNSD I hoped that the lines get distributed to the dancers.. and it did... Even though my favorite Ice Princess left at least the 4 dancers got more lines and not just all TTS

I had the same reaction as you! I was really shocked (in a good way) that all the members that usually don't get many parts were singing at the beginning of the song. I think Sooyoung got so many parts because she speaks the best Japanese and in the Japanese version of this song, like their other Japanese songs, Sooyoung has a lot of parts.
Eve Barrett Sooyoung got many parts, not only because she's the most fluent in japanese but also because she improved SO MUCH. she's even considered part of the vocal line now that Jessica is gone. which i LOVE IT.

I know snsd bcoz of yoona. She brings me to this pink ocean of life so she diffinately my bias. I've been a sone like 7 years now. this year is like a dream come true when sm finally gave her yuri sooyoung n hyoyeon freaking part which is more than 2 line for sure. Idk if jessica still in snsd, are this happen? I just cant get enough of this 😢 so many years waiting my bias to sing is so damn hard. I totally freaked out when Yuri was 1st, Hyoyeon was 2nd, Yoona was 3rd and Sooyoung was 4th. I like what SMTown did with the lines. The dance is amazing, they are all great dancers especially Yuri, Hyoyeon, Yoona and Sooyoung who usually don't get a lot of parts but this video? SMASHED IT.

I looved the mv and song, yoona... was standout!! I missed my seobaby and fany, but I think it was a smart SM move to give more exposure to SHYY because GG wont be expected to perform this song live very often, if so it will be more often lip sync'd and shortened rather than sang live and full. Its definitely a fun single!!!
His reaction was the same as mine. I was so shock when Yuri started singing and then HyoYeon, Yoona and SooYoung. I was like where are the lead and main vocalist and why weren't they singing. Then I took a deep breath and tip my hat to SM for this. I'm so happy they focused on the dancers in this complex MV & song. The vocalists always seems to be the main focus so I'm glad they shared the spotlight here and the dancers did a damn good job at leading this song. Never thought I'd see the day TaeYeon, SeoHyun and Tiffany didn't get enough lines in a song. Sunny's 2 lines were perfect for her. Its as I've been saying that girl can sing just anything you give her. I love the way she personalize everything Sunny's way; especially when she's covering for Jessica. It almost make me happy Jessica left so Sunny could sing her parts. She's amazing... the girls are all amazing. I'm so glad RU-vid led me to their Kissing You MV 9 years ago. I've been a dedicated Sone and Sunshiner since.

Holy crapnut, this MV was amazing. Dancers finally all got proper amounts of lines for once, loved the visual style and fast, aggressive synth beat, choreo blew my face off with awesomeness. I'm actually happy that they didn't use any separate closeup shots, because it let me see the entirety of the dance routine, instead. Easily my favorite routine they've ever done, by far.

I smiled when it got to hyoyeons first line, I paused and cried when it got to her second line I've waited so long for hyoyeon to get some spotlight she didn't seem to get many lines at tokyo dome so I was NOT expecting this, they slayed proud to be a sone.
GG really slayed it with this song. It's already becoming one of my favorites. It's different (but a different that you can get behind and enjoy). I wish a lot of their songs were like this, and more about the dance than lines..but it's also refreshing that each member got an equal amount for once. I also agree with you on the Japanese version. It's like what the hell? This was meant as a Japanese single with a Korean release and all we get to see (at least in the US) is the Korean version. But, I'm not hating since the girls slayed and did amazing in the Korean version.

The song is nice. The MV and the line distribution are the things that won me over. It really balanced things out. Loving how it all starts with the dancers being put on the spotlight for a change! And yes, more MVs taking place outside SM!! These girls need more sunlight!
I didn't even complete the video before I knew I needed to watch it with you Dylan. Like it only took complete and total heartbreak before SM FINALLY let the dance line sing and shine. This is one of the few videos where I can't even complain about anything: The choreography was gorgeous, the girls were glorious, and the song was actually good.
I went to the gym today and did zumba it was so hard to keep up with fast moves and it just requires so much energy. I'm so amazed at how they dance so fast yet perfect. I know they were trained many years but its still cool to see that!

I loved this song too, it's just so different to what they've done before. GG's dance line is hot! And they always got so little camera time in the past, yet we could see them in this video! Also the building site concept was really cool, I don't think that's ever been done before.

I was waiting for your reaction because I knew you' bring up the dance line singing the majority of this song. I was surprised and glad it was done, it proves they are capable of getting more lines & carrying a song. While I feel like this isn't their best track, it definitely showcased their years of being a group since they were in sync through all the dance moves. The choreography was more difficult than many of their previous dances and the video was nicely shot with very good directing. I saw the Japanese version and it sounds much better than the Korean one imo
The dance choreography is hard because it has a LOT of hand moves and you have to have a lot of coordination with dancing and moves, the dancing Queen looks so perfect but I think Taeyeong stole the dance, I can't stop watching here! And Tifanny, my bias, lovely, beautiful and with a beautiful voice as always! Love it!
