I'm a grown man, and I have to say, not a single part of the series went without tears, laughter and reflection on how complicated it is between South and North Korea and love
I don't know why I'm crying, knowing that this series has a happy ending. It feels weird to feel sad, nostalgic and wistful all at the same time when the ending is quite peaceful. I guess, I'm just sad it ended 😭
It was a bittersweet ending for me, I guess. They only get to see each other 2 weeks in a year. At least they still meet with each other. But with seo dan and geu seungjun, I was most depressed and devastated with their ending that still makes me think of it until now and makes the ending of the story sad.
I do have hope they actually ended up living together in Switzerland tho! They never showed when the last scene was, it could've been years after the scene at the festival! Maybe their situation changed since then and bought a house and live happily ever after, together? Idk maybe I just make myself believe that so I can kinda cope with the ending lmao
It feels sad because you know it's a lie, a sad condolence to all of those who got separated from their loved ones due to the terrible relationship between the two koreas. The author wanted a happy ending for once, wanted to tell you how many soulmates could never meet just because of stupid politics. It's sorrowful because you know deep down that's a beautiful lie, a miracle... a miracle that only happens in fiction. They found each others in Switzerland, the North, the south and Swiss again but they will never be able to stay together for more than 2 weeks every year.... the melancholy stands there. The opening theme tells it all, a daily life of two lovers longing to meet, crossing each others in Swiss just to get separated again.... It's such a very beautiful misery. A fate. How brave of them to fall for each others knowing they will never truly be together but still find their own way to fight it out? Love. Love is powerful. Love will forever stand stronger than hate. May the two koreas unite again.
This is the first Korean drama/series I have watched. I totally loved it! It is a beautiful story! It combines laughter, action, drama and love perfectly! It made me cry lots. Reflects lots. Dream lots. It gives you hope. Makes one feel nostalgic, Wondering if that kind of love and devotion exists. I can't believe people that love each other that much, can't be together just because political issues. Thanks for putting together this beautiful video of the main characters and how destined for each other they were.
I just finished the series today and I'm crying in bed as I watching this. Such a bitter sweet ending. Two weeks out of the year to be with your destined soulmate. Two weeks that must feel like heaven together. I imagine that one day they get to be together forever with out the need to part from one another 😭❤️ Idc that it's just a drama. Its gonna stay with me for long time, like all good stories do
One thing. This series has the best last 3 minutes in each episode. Even if you do not watch each episode completely just watch the last 3 minutes, you will feel a sad happiness. 🥺🥺🥺🥺
This is one of K-dramas that spark my will to travel and goes to the place where they make the scene. One of the reason I love watching K-dramas because they make every place like a paradise, they capture it perfectly. Thank you for making this ❤
I still listen to it even now in MAR24. It brought me back to the pandemic period, lockedown at home, but I was happy and unapologetic being a couch potato following their journeys in this show (yes, the marathon method) and the withdrawal symptoms were bad once the show was over - lovely, funny, and cleverly crafted characters.... I also missed the busybody ladies in the village.
Its music adds emotions and life to this story. I was searching for its ending. Thanx to this video. He/She beautifully edited those wonderful memories according to this song and music. Goosebumps came to me at 1:31 . That music has something within itself. Loved everything about it whether its story, actors, actresses, music, nature scenes and culture. Everything was Awesome. Esta serie la he visto dos veces y se me antoja verla nuevamente, simple y sencillamente me encantó, me sorprendí muchas veces sonriendo sólo de verlos juntos, hubo de todo, me hizo llorar y carcajearme de situaciones realmente divertidas. También sufrí con ellos, finalmente, lo reitero me en can tó.

It’s very hard to watch anything else after completing this masterpiece. The finale seemed a bit rushed perhaps due to Covid, but haven’t been able to get over the music, the actors and just how wonderful I felt after watching this. Love from India 🇮🇳 ❤

It’s the first k drama I finish and I must say nothing got me emotional more than this series everything about it with the music it’s perfect it’s one of my favorite series

La terminé y tuve que verla de nuevo. Me enamoró todo de esta dramaa, la música, la química de los protagonistas, Hyun Bin lo amoo. Pero sobre todo el cast está excelente, la tropa es genial, junto con la historia de Dan y Alberto merecían tanto! Amada por siempre.
