She's been around for more than 10 years, although she had her debut in Japan, while her South Korea debut was one or two years later from what I remember. Basically, she's been around. It's unfortunate that she isn't more known. You should check out more of her music, she has done pretty much everything.
*Younha is such an underrated artist.* She has such sweet and powerful vocals, which allows for such perfect versatility. Her skills and performances definitely show her veteran status (watch her lives!) I hope she gets more love and recognition, and as long as she continues to make music and I am able to listen, then I'm happy. ~ *You are doing amazingly Younha!* ✨
Tablo described Younha's voice in a Sketchbook episode as one who's experienced heartbreak for the first time (or something along those lines), and that's actually my favorite version of her voice. This is definitely a refreshing and lively style that is more appealing and attractive to current general music fans, though.

Yes, I keep discovered a lot of good music through them, like Contrail of MoonMoon, Gin Tonic of Peakboy... Namjoon realy like Younha so I start listen to her, her voice is gracious
I don't think she is underrated, on the contrary she is a very well known, established and respect singer, songwriter and music producer. She has her solid fanbase and more than 10 years of career. I really like the variety of styles of music that she has released works from: pop, rock, ballads in japanese and korean languages. Maybe you are comparing her to the reality of idols, that ironically tend to be overrated, but she has never been an idol, she started as a singer and songwriter and she still is. So happy that Younha has new disc :)!
Inter-fans know more about Kpop/Idols but in Korean, seem like ballad solo artist is more well know. She had been a famous singer before BTS debut, RM is her fan tho...
