@@elmachingon I've seen Richard Nguyen. He's mid tier at best. Whoever reaches professional level (as in EVO) can be confirmed for top tier Dante. Cloud proved this when he was the highest ranked Dante player in UMVC but had to reset account due to unknown reasons so he wasn't at the top. Until he made it consistently on top tier play for UMVC3 and even EVO too. When Mvci came he was way too dominant with Dante and still is. UMVC3 and MVCI Dante is cloud805 without a doubt. Also no one has ever beaten his SSStyliSSSh combo exhibition... ever. So stylish that top tier players were just too amazed at his skill. So no. Richard Nguyen is mid tier at best.

Honestly what pisses me off is everyone else is just flat down playing their characters. Yeah Dante's cheap but lets not pretend characters like Gamora, Ultron or Jedah are fair by any stretch. lol

Shotgundam009 ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Jedah is fair. Can't approach for shit if the opponent runs reality stone. Has match-ups like ghost rider where his only safe approach option is literally walking. Gamora has super predictable gameplay. Loses hard to flyers or characters that can stay above her. Ultron is just really good. Dante is just THAT good. You can't really wiff shit. If you hit any move in his moveset it converts into full damage. Where other characters might only get about 5k, Dante gets 7k. Has a safe teleport. Canceling his moves makes just about everything safe. Projectiles create crazy good mixups without tags. The list goes on... Yeah there are other good characters but there's a reason everyone is using Dante.

Tru. I just feel the newer characters have potential. Instead these "pros" stay in their comfort zone. Which I don't mind just seeing the same teams makes me not wanna watch. Same hype. But it's marvelhh babyy Ima give it time they'll have some crazy synergy soon enough

sbn4 they don't need to Nerf them, it's a new game so everybody plays safe, but anyone who doesn't play as Dante will tell you that he's extremely weak and has no way to defend against pressure. Just look at what sonicfox does to Dante players.

I didn't say there should be a nerf, but its going to happen eventually. Dante is dumb in this game just like he was in vanilla MVC3. And they toned him down. And any character will lose against a high pressure character. There are many characters like Ryu, Chris, and Cap who also fold under pressure and aren't give the same amazing tools as Dante. Dante still has high damage, good tools, relatively easy execution and is everywhere.

Morrigan is as powerful as he is, if not more so. But she got nerfed hard in MVCI and now you barely see her. And I disagree. Seeing Dante everywhere is pretty annoying especially with that ugly mug and his terrible as usual dialogue. And what does character lore matter in cross over games? Haggar having more HP than Shuma or Dormammu makes no sense. Magneto should make Dante obsolete, but he doesn't. Regular humans like Spencer, Chris, and Hagger hit harder than Dante in UMVC3. None of that should matter in crossover games.

shindean no one who plays dante will tell you he is weak.... i main dante Dante/Jedah to be exact dante is easily one of if not the best character in this game. If anyone tells you otherwise they are full of shit period. Dante has to commit to nothing which is one of his greatest strengths allowing him to do seemingly random shit then just escape punish free with command jump, teleport or devil trigger cancel... stinger is one of the best moves in the gamr so is jump down Hk since it can be canceled at any time... not to mention the ungodly range on our normals... if anyone tell you dante is bad tell them to stop lying to themselves
