Maniac is so sick! I have the old Blu-ray release from Blue Underground. They filmed a lot of that right near one of my previous jobs. I need to pick up that Dead and Buried soon. Sweet haul dude. 💯

Been a while since I've seen any of the Maniac movies. I remember them being fun, though. Still no MVD for me. One day.

The original camera negative for Maniac Cop is lost. The man the owned it passed away and no one has any clue where the original footage is. And Synapse Films only does 4K’s if they can upgrade it from the original camera negative. They don’t do cheap transfers. Here’s to hoping Maniac Cop gets a 4K one day. And William Lustig is the founder of Blue Underground so yeah he likes to upgrade his own movies. They definitely have great transfers but the prices are definitely steep. I honestly prefer Maniac Cop over Maniac Cop 2 but both are good.

The remake of maniac is worth the watch! Need to pick up zombie!
