I heard somewhere that this generation doesn’t play musical instruments or sing. There is no real music today, so they say. Thank u young brothers for exposing that lie Herbie Hancock Headhunters style. I see no limit to ur potential.
It’s ironic that you mentioned this because this type of late 90’s early 2000’s playing seems to be coming back in the mainstream because this is how we played back then and it’s refreshing and a absolute joy for me to see the millennial generation perform playing this style.
I am so a fan. It took me 3 hours to get thru the Tamela Mann Leandria Johnson and Tasha Cobb recording. OMG amazing amazing amazing. And Mr drummer OMG
Hey guys love the vibes and the practise make premenant.....bassman love your tone man you make sound right ... what gig equipment are you using? Blessing guys again
As nice as the Kronos, Nord, Fantom 2019, etc are, the gear from the 1st decade of the 2000s & earlier will still get you there!!! There is no need to rush and sell that gear to get the new stuff...but get it if you want though...it won’t make you a better musician though. That part has to be you and the work you put in!
I'll never part with my 1980 Rhodes or my Korg Mono-Poly (their answer to the Minimoog) ..They both are over 40 years old and in mint condition. I'm the problem and my desire to play/perform has waned the older I get. But watching these guys videos has given me a little boost..Thanks MVP crew.
Love this so much! Wish they woulda turned up the volume on the hand drums a lil more, though… They are clearly lacking enough drummers/percussionists. 😋
