I'm Brazilian and I'm moving to Netherlands too. My boyfriend is dutch and he applied for my MVV. I applied 09 august and 01 september IND answered that I got my approved! I'm so happy. I date my boyfriend since september 2019, is a long journey because long relationship not is easy. But we win! Happy Happy! I feel represented by your video. Congratulations to you guys. I really want to work in IND in future to see what happens. Some people take less than a month and others it takes alot of time. I wonder how assessments are done!!! Anyway, Yours was really fast. My wife applied on 5th August but we are still waiting. 😢

Hello, yes that's correct.. I just used like size A5 paper with lines, and at the top of every sheet put the question number and then just answer it .. But for me 10.1 to 11.2 I wrote on one sheet of paper and then just answered "no" because it's all about children

The next week another letter came they confirm payment received... and then about 1 month and 3 weeks later they approved it.. and my gf picked up the MVV at the Dutch embassy like 4 days later

Hey! Nog gefeliciteerd met jullie MVV acceptatie! Ik heb nog wel een vraag. Na acceptatie van de MVV moet je een afspraak maken bij de ambassade voor de MVV sticker in het paspoort van je partner. Heb je daar lang op moeten wachten? Als ik nu online kijk voor een afspraak moet je bijna 2 maanden wachten tot er ruimte is :(

Hi, dankjewel! :) Ik denk dat dat per ambassade verschillend is, maar dat kan even duren ja. Bij ons was dat een maand ofzo.. Maar als ze eenmaal daar geweest is duurt het ongeveer een week voordat ze het paspoort met mvv terug sturen. Succes!

Hello, yes that can be an easier way, the civil partnership certificate is then right away a strong proof of relationship.

After sending everything to the IND, I think at the end of the next week, I had the letter with the payment request. But maybe it's different per person, depending on how busy the IND is at the moment.

Every non-Dutch person who applies for a residence permit will receive this number. The number is on the letters from the IND. And it is stated on the back of the residence permit. Also you need to pass the basic Dutch civic integration exam outside the Netherlands to be able to apply for a MVV... also when applying for this you should get a V-number...Good luck with everything!

Hello! I have a question regarding 'Questionnaire for residence with partner'. Did you sign every single page where you answered the questions, including signing the pages with photos as well? I am still a bit confused, because I have attached many pictures which means it is gonna be a lot of papers to be signed then.

Hi, like it says on the document: "Use separate sheets of paper when answering the questions. Mention the number of the question and your answer on the sheet. You must place your signature and the date of signing on each sheet of paper." So I just wrote the answers on A5 sized paper and signed every piece.. And I added my photos separately and I did not sign the photos. Much luck with everything!

Hello, are you sending it from out of the Netherlands? If so then you can use PostNL www.postnl.nl/versturen/brief-of-kaart-versturen/verzendopties/aangetekend/ Click on "verstuur direct online" and follow the steps.. you can choose letter, mailbox package, or bigger package, and country to send to, (for me it was IND same country) I chose letter and extra security (aangetekend) when you send important things like this it's 8,75 And then you can bring it to a PostNL point to send it.

Thanks! The proof of unmarried status document can not be older than 6 months. (Een apostille of legalisatie van een ongehuwdverklaring is maximaal 6 maanden geldig.) The legalisation is valid for 6 months. Good luck with everything!

Hi, I'm not sure.. maybe if you show them enough proof of the relationship being real, videocall history, chats, email, etc... True love on a long distance relationship... But in my opinion, it would be better if your boyfriend would fly to you first to meet eachother. Or to first apply for a Schengen visa for 3 months (90days).. Then the IND sees that everything went good and the relationship is still on, they will approve the MVV faster.

Hello, after they sent you the letter they confirm receiving your application and you completed payment. It can take up to 90 days for them to approve or decline your MVV

Ik zie dat je ook het formulier 'Bewijs van garantstelling en/of particuliere logiesverstrekking' ook tussen de formulier hebt liggen. Dit zie ik echter nergens staan in de bijlage op de website van de IND voor de aanvraag van het partnervisum. Is dit formulier ook verplicht voor de aanvraag van dit visum? Alvast bedankt! :)

Hallo, in het begin wist ik het niet zeker omdat voor een Schengen visum deze wel verplicht is, dus had ik het er gewoon bij gedaan.. Toen later kwam ik erachter dat deze voor een MVV dus niet vereist is. Het bewijs van garantstelling en/of logiesverstrekking is specifiek voor Schengen visum aanvragen. Maar ik heb het wel gewoon mee opgestuurd.. Hoe meer hoe beter 😁 Succes!

@@Just_driving_ deze heb ik inderdaad opgestuurd toen ik m'n vriend voor max. 90 dagen naar Nederland liet komen idd, dus voor het visum kort verblijf. Vandaar dat het me zo bekend voorkwam hahaha. Bedankt voor de uitleg en voor de duidelijke video!

Hi, with only the MVV it's not allowed, but she has a residence permit for family for 5 years now, on the back of the card it says 'arbeid is vrij toegestaan' .. So yes she is allowed to work, but also has to keep following the whole integration.

Hi, I'm not sure about that, but I think either way is fine.. It's just to prove that you can provide for yourself and or partner when living in the Netherlands.. If most of your assets are in a foreign bank, I think it shouldn't matter that it's not Dutch.

Hello, It's like 1 week they will send a letter with request for payment, after you payed it they will send another letter confirming they received your payment and from then the 3 months (90days) start, they will start looking at everything you sent. About salary I'm not sure what the minimum is, they will let you know if something is not good.. if your partner in the Netherlands provides for you it might be different too.. I think they just want to see you can provide for yourselves while living here. Good luck on everything!

Hi, for MVV it's more than 1 form.. at 12:01 in the video I show all the documents I filled in and sent to the IND.. Just one document the "Bewijs van garantstelling en/of particuliere logiesverstrekking"(proof of guarantee) is not needed, that's only for Schengen Visa.. But all other forms are needed

Hi, I don't know about applying online, but all the documents and checklist I took from this website: mvv-advocaat.nl/checklist-mvv-machtiging-tot-voorlopig-verblijf/ I just filled it all in and added all extra documents like about my work and our passports and my girlfriend sent me back the documents she had to sign + her birth certificate translated and proof of unmarried status translated and then I sent it all together to the IND in the Netherlands.. At 12:00 I show all documents needed Only the proof of sponsorship and accommodation was not needed thats only for Schengen visa ind.nl/nl/machtiging-tot-voorlopig-verblijf-mvv www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/visum-nederland/visum-lang-verblijf-mvv On here can find a lot of information aswell

Hello, when she went to the Dutch Embassy after the MVV was approved, she just went to submit documents ((aanvraag formulier mvv verlening)), to give fingerprints, to pay, and to bring her Passport.. They didn't ask any questions.. But that doesn't mean they will never do that.. for everyone their personal situation is different, if they want to know more about something they'll just ask it.. @@mmasetemasegophatshwane8832 She forgot to ask for the approval sticker on her translated documents (proof of not married and birth certificate) She had to get the stamp/sticker last moment so she had to pay 3040Baht (76Euro) at the Embassy. For others who request approve sticker from the embassy before sending documents to their bf, they will only have to pay 40 baht to have the embassy send the documents and passport back to their address. The costs for applying for the MVV Verblijf bij familielid, incl. (gehuwd) partner Eerste aanvraag, wijziging verblijfsdoel en verlenging € 228,00 I payed myself because I am the one applying for the MVV for her.

Hoi, ik heb nog een paar vraagjes gerelateerd aan de aanvraag (en heb weinig zin/tijd om weer een half uur te wachten om iemand van de IND aan de lijn te krijgen.. 🙈): - Voor de informatie die de 'vreemdeling' moet invullen, bijvoorbeeld de 'Bijlage Antecedentenverklaring'/'Bijlage Intentieverklaring tbc-onderzoek/etc., heb jij deze zelf ingevuld dat je vriendin alleen maar haar handtekening heeft gezet, of heeft je vriendin deze zelf ingevuld en ondertekend? - In de bijlage 'Intentieverklaring tbc-onderzoek' staat onder het kopje '2. Ondertekening' ook dat je de naam en gegevens van de 'wettelijke vertegenwoordiger' moet invullen. Moet ik hier mijn eigen naam en gegevens invullen? Ben ik dan zogezegd mijn partners 'wettelijke vertegenwoordiger'? - Is het ook verplicht om de 'Bijlage Verklaring burgerlijke staat' in te vullen en mee te sturen? Ik zie hier namelijk staan dat deze verklaring alleen betrekking heeft op kinderen van 15 jaar of ouder. Mijn partner en ik hebben geen kinderen. Ik zie deze bijlage namelijk ook niet in de video liggen (of ik moet heel slecht hebben gekeken 😁), dus ik twijfel nu of deze nou wel/niet moet worden ingevuld voor de aanvraag. - Heb je ook de niet-ingevulde formulieren die niet op jouw/jullie situatie van toepassing zijn meegestuurd? In mijn geval zal ik bijvoorbeeld de 'Bijlage Verklaring omtrent inkomen zelfstandig ondernemer' niet invullen omdat ik in loondienst ben. Moet deze bijlage dan alsnog meegestuurd worden met de aanvraag? - In de video zie ik ook de bijlages 'Toestemmingsverklaring medische gegevens', 'Bewijs omtrent medische situatie vreemdeling' en 'Verwijzingsformulier tbc-onderzoek'. Je geeft aan dat deze documenten zijn voor wanneer je partner al in Nederland is. Moeten deze formulieren (voor zover mogelijk ingevuld indien mogelijk?) wel meegestuurd worden met de aanvraag of is dat niet nodig? We gaan de aanvraag doen zodra mijn vriend de uitslag heeft van zijn inburgeringsexamen, dus ik wil gewoon wel alles 100% zeker weten, zodat de IND de aanvraag gewoon gelijk goedkeurt 😃 Dus excuses voor de vele vragen, en bedankt alvast voor je reactie!

Hallo 😂 - De documenten die mijn vriendin moest ondertekenen heb ik gewoon zelf ingevuld en allemaal naar haar opgestuurd, zij heeft alleen haar handtekening gezet en toen alles naar mij terug gestuurd. -Wettelijk vertegenwoordiger, Volgens mij heb ik hier toen mijn eigen naam en handtekening gezet omdat ik de aanvraag deed voor mijn vriendin. We hebben verder niemand anders die ons hielp of die wettelijk vertegenwoordigd is -Bijlage verklaring burgerlijke staat heb ik niet meegestuurd, inplaats van die had ik de bijlage relatieverklaring, en die heeft mijn vriendin ook ondertekend en terug gestuurd. -Documenten die niet van toepassing zijn hoef je niet mee te sturen, is alleen maar extra papier. -De 2 bijlages over medische gegevens zijn alleen van toepassing als jou partner iets heeft waar hij medicijnen voor gebruikt of standaard iedere maand naar de dokter moet voor iets chronisch ofzo.. Als hij verder gezond is en dit niet doet dan heb je deze 2 bijlages niet nodig. Het verwijzingsforumulier TBC onderzoek heb je nodig als je vriend hier is en je een afspraak bij de GGD hebt gemaakt (binnen 3 maanden) voor een TBC onderzoek, dan moet je dat verwijzingsformulier meenemen en die zal de GGD later naar de IND opsturen als alles goed is en hij helemaal gezond is. Die hoef je dus niet met je MVV aanvraag mee te sturen. Ik hoop dat ze jullie aanvraag meteen goed keuren. Als alles goed gekeurd is (kan 90 dagen duren) en je vriend een afspraak bij de Nederlandse Ambassade heeft gemaakt in de stad/land waar hij woont, dan moet hij de "bijlage MVV verlening" meenemen.. Zijn Paspoort moet dan even bij de Ambassade blijven en hun sturen die naar hem terug met de MVV sticker erin. En dan mag hij hierheen komen. Veel succes!

Hallo, de gegevens van uw buitenlandse partner.. omdat u Nederlands burger bent hoeft u niet aan te tonen of u wel of niet getrouwd bent. Uw partner in het buitenland moet dat wel aantonen. Bij ons had ook alleen mijn vriendin een bewijs van ongehuwde staat nodig (proof of unmarried status). Dit document moet wel vertaald worden door een beëdigde vertaler naar het Nederlands, Engels, Frans of Duits en moet afgestempeld worden. Net als het geboorte certificaat van uw partner, als het in een ander taal is moet deze ook vertaald worden. Succes!

My partner paid for the A1 level test, we have been waiting for 4 months and we still haven't received a date when I can go for the test, and it says that the date is usually received within 3 days! We don't know why it's taking so long.

Hi, do you mean for the Civic Integration Exam Abroad at the Dutch Embassy? I think you have to contact the Embassy at where you made and appointment to do the exams, maybe something went wrong.. After paying to DUO did they send a payment confirmation? www.netherlandsworldwide.nl/civic-integration-exam-abroad maybe on here you can find more information too? because 4 months is way too long to wait for that.

@@Just_driving_ Yes, after the payment we received a confirmation, my partner called them several times... each time they just say that we will get the date soon , and that's it!

@@emabasic3763 For us, I payed for my gf exams and when I received the payment confirmation my gf called to the Dutch Embassy in Bangkok to make an appointment for her exams.. Because they speak Thai with her on the phone she called. Maybe you can try to call yourself to the Dutch Embassy in the city where you live?

Hi, when it's the first time you are applying, you don't have a V-number yet. "Every non-Dutch person who applies for a residence permit will receive this number. The number is on the letters from the IND." So after sending in the application, the IND will send you letters on how to continue, and your V number will be on there. When I applied for my girlfriend, I didn't fill anything in either because we didn't have the number yet. Good luck!

When I took my basisexamen inbugering in het buitenland, I had to register at the Dutch embassy of my country. During this registration process, they took down my passport information and gave me a paper that I must bring to the embassy each time I go for business related to my application. On that paper, my V-Nummer is on it.

Hallo, Ik wist het niet zeker dus heb het even opgezocht, hier zijn 2 punten: Alleen als de volgende punten op jou van toepassing zijn, ben je verplicht om in te burgeren (je hebt dan ‘inburgeringsplicht’): • Je komt naar Nederland voor langere tijd • Je komt uit een land buiten de Europese Unie (EU), IJsland, Liechtenstein, Noorwegen of Zwitserland. Dus ja, ik denk dat uw vriendin dan ook inburgeringsplicht heeft. Succes!

Hi, you could apply for a Schengen Visa first.. this one is valid for 3 months (90days) you can travel to the Netherlands with it and meet eachother, good luck!

@@CarotenHi, this is for your Dutch partner to fill in, for the person applying.. The 1.1 V-number I just let it empty.. If you would apply yourself from out of a different country then you're the one applying and it's about your work and then can put your own V-number.. But if your Dutch partner applies then it's about his/her work he/she doesn't have to write your V-number. I think it's just to see if your Dutch partner has a steady income, because your work in the country where you come from would probably stop then.

Hi, I don't know about that.. I think the IND will make sure to answer within the 3 months to prevent that from happening.. If it does happen then maybe you could submit a request for a penalty payment, but you probably need legal assistance for that, an immigration lawyer or something.. The IND will not start paying you on it's own.

@Daftminion303 Hallo, ik geef eigenlijk alleen maar tips via deze video, ik deel alleen hoe wij het zelf gedaan hebben, ik ben geen adviseur ofzo haha 😁 .. In de beschrijving van deze video staan links naar waar ik alle documenten vandaan heb, en het is makkelijk om die checklist te downloaden daar staat eigenlijk precies in hoe het werkt. Het kan per persoon iets verschillend zijn afhankelijk van jullie persoonlijke situatie. Veel succes!

Om een MVV en verblijfsvergunning aan te vragen (dat gaat tegelijk) moet je vriendin geslaagd zijn voor het "civic integration exam abroad" niveau A1 (inburgering in het buitenland). Als ze dan in Nederland is krijg je vanzelf een oproep om hier verder te gaan met inburgering voor niveau A2 of B1.. Bij ons duurt het (geen idee waarom) erg lang, wij hebben een intake gesprek gehad waar alles uitgelegd werd, mijn vriendin zou een proef examen moeten maken om te bepalen op welk niveau ze hier verder Nederlands gaat leren en daarna zouden we nog een een gesprek hebben om de PIP te maken (Persoonlijk plan Inburgering en Participatie). En vanaf dat moment gaat dan het termijn van 3 jaar in om voor alles te slagen. Maar we hebben nog steeds geen oproep gehad voor een proef examen en dat had binnen 10 weken moeten komen, misschien moet ik zelf is gaan bellen naar DUO 😅.

I sent quite a lot haha but pictures are not the only proof of relationship.. Old plane tickets of when you were together, or screenshots of videocall history, or other social media posts, or maybe you've sent gifts to eachother before, anything that shows it's real.. Putting things like that together with the document "Questionnaire for residence with partner" should be enough evidence 😄

@Caroten Medical information is only for if you already visit a doctor regularly and take medicines, and then need that in the Netherlands too, if not don't need. When she goes to the Dutch Embassy to get the MVV she has to fill in that document from the link I sent and bring her birth certificate + proof of unmarried status translated to English with stamps... Tuberculosis TBC research is for when she is in the Netherlands, within 3 months have to get tested and bring the TB test referral form.

Hey ik zit met een probleem, en met wat vragen. Mijn Thaise vriendin wil graag 2 weken naar nederland komen. ik heb gekeken op de webside voor het schengenvisum. Maar ik kom er niet uit(bureaucratie) Wat heeft mijn vriendin van mij nodig om het plaatje helemaal compleet te krijgen. ze verblijft maar 2 weken. ik hoop dat je zsm terug antwoord want ze wil al in december komen.

Hallo, ookal wilt ze maar 2 weken blijven heeft ze alsnog een Schengen visum nodig voor kort verblijf (90 dagen). Dat is best wel een hoop papierwerk voor maar 2 weken, mijn vriendin is toen gelijk 3 maanden gebleven. Hier is een checklist met alles wat u nodig heeft: www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/binaries/content/assets/pdfs-nederlands/checklist-aanvraag-schengenvisum-bezoek-familie-vrienden.pdf En hier het aanvraag formulier: www.mvv-gezinshereniging.nl/assets/files/Documenten/AanvraagformulierSchengenvisumjanuari_2017.pdf En dit is het bewijs van garantstelling en logiesverstrekking, met deze moet u naar het gemeentehuis om uw handtekening te laten legaliseren: ind.nl/nl/formulieren/1310.pdf Als u alles documenten op de checklist verzameld heeft kunt u alles opsturen naar uw vriendin en een afspraak maken bij VFS Global in Bangkok of in de stad waar zij woont.. Zij neemt alles mee en haar paspoort, haar paspoort blijft bij VFS en als alles goed is sturen hun die terug op met de Schengenvisum sticker erin. In Thailand is ze eerst geslaagd voor het A1 niveaus inburgeren in het buitenland, en na ongeveer 2 maanden hier in Nederland kregen we een uitnodigingsbrief van de Sociale Dienst Drechtsteden voor een verplicht gesprek over inburgering en over wat haar plannen zijn voor werk en alles, het heet startgesprek Brede Intake.. Binnen 10 weken na dit gesprek krijgen we nog een uitnodiging om samen het Plan inburgering en Participatie te maken (PIP). Daar komt in te staan op welk niveau ze dan Nederlands gaat leren enz.. Op die manier dus, we wachten gewoon dat gesprek af volgende week en kijken dan hoe het verder gaat. Ik denk dat we hier nog wel een video over maken... En ik praat gewoon zoveel mogelijk Nederlands tegen haar en daar onthoud ze ook weer dingen van haha 😄 Succes!

@@Just_driving_ naar deze informatie was ik ook op zoek! Nadat je alles had ingevuld, heb je het gewoon ingescand, zodat zij het kon printen en tekenen? En heeft zij het dan weer ingescand (met handtekening) en weer digitaal naar jou gestuurd? Of hebben jullie echt alles per post gedaan? Ik weet nog voor de short stay visa van 90 dagen dat ze best wel even moeilijk deden met ingescande documenten namelijk.. 😬

Looks good, and yes we just need to have patience when waiting on documents from the embassy and IND, for some people it goes faster than others.. But before you know it you'll live together, and you can argue eachother about little things that don't matter haha. Have fun together and much luck!

Hi, your situation is a bit different than ours, but I think you should apply for a work residence permit.. Because you are from outside Europe you'll need a MVV first to travel here and then can get a residence permit for 5 years.. I think you'll have to follow all the integration rules too about learning Dutch. ind.nl/en/residence-permits/work
