You know the sad part about OG Shepard? He could have sat back, done nothing, and let Makrov start WW3 on his own. Shepard could step in clean it up and be a hero legitimately. It's why I really didn't like old MW2's storyline, too many gratuitous betrayals for no reason.

This campaign was fucking fantastic. Just beat it on Veteran. Wayy better than mw19. The story is coming together now. The way they portrayed Sheperds betrayal was very realistic and plausible. The Shadow Company twist was done nicely too, you honestly starting believing that they're just the good guys in this universe, until they're not.
It's stupid. They interrogate no one, they refuse to kill the obvious bad guy, and they used the same fucking twist twelve years ago. You guys are like human npcs for thinking this story is high quality.
I'm going out on a limb here but seeing the ghost team really made me have hope that was an easter egg or secret that ghosts 2 is in the works/coming. Hell we have rumors of advanced warfare 2 so why not ghosts and im really hoping because that story needs closure.
Like how they paid homage to CoD Ghosts with this. It seems like IW completely forgot that game existed ever since that game came out and received criticism. Good to know they still acknowledge it.

Soap didn't miss the opportunity to perfectly gouge out Ghost's face. He knows he'll never get to see it again. Also he must be thinking, "Whoa! Really he wasn't kidding when he said he was handsome."
Shepherd’s voice gets a little shakey when he calls Graves a, “dog with a bone.” It makes me think even Shepherd is afraid of Graves, knowing full well what he’s up to (taking pleasure in massacring Las Almas and obeying orders to betray 141, his former brothers in arms, with little hesitation)
In the first MW2 Ghost was invisible to me, okay his look was cool but.. meh. But this time he is a true character with a lot of details wich learn us a lot about him. The fact that Ghost disapears like three or four times during the story makes me believe that a DLC like Separate Ways from RE4 could happened.
Haven't played og MW2 in over 10 year and wierd as soon as I heard Sheppards voice I instantly recognized him as "overlord" it's cool how he got an even bigger role
Where are the masks coming from? Like, does Ghost just got a bag full of 'em and change everyday like you and I change underwear? Did he went to a town tk bought a bunch of masks and then drew the skeletons on them?
How i compare this MW reboot series to the original is the original is like if Michael Bay directed it, being big, bombastic and huge and the reboot would be Paul Greengrass would direct it being slow and full of tension and realistic.
Soap and Gaz look like they wanna say something but keep their mouth's shut while Price just smiles he did know Ghost longer than they did so not surprising. I'm just glad Ghost lives this time and Soap and Gaz hopefully they all live in this reboot. Wonder if we'll see Roach and Yuri next game for MW3.
Would be cool if Roach was introduced as a former member of Shadow Company, and survived the Russian PMC attack, hence why he’s called Roach, and he could join 141 so he could get revenge on Shepherd and Graves for getting his friends killed.

I like the Old Shepherd better, he was a old gunslinger type who you knew could give you a fight. This one doesn't look like he could throw a punch without weezing, lol.
Think thats the point, theyre going for the more behind the scenes tactician sorta guy, who abuses his manipulation abilities to turn the battle into his favour. Ofc he could always do a 180 and turn into fucking John Wick, but my impression is hes more like an Odin type figure and works behind the scenes while using people like Shadow Comp to do the physical fighting.

@@theoutlawking9123 Graves is Shephards proxy for us to physically fight in place of him directly. I'm 99% sure that the conversation between Soap and Graves is over the radio and he wasn't in that tank at all.

While the newest 2 Modern Warfare games are not as great as the originals imo they are still really great in their own regards. Of course, the one thing that both sets of games do, is the members of Task Force 141 and of SAS.

@@natedowns5 that is the only different but other than that i have a headcanon that ghost is just alex but he wears the ghost mask because farah and the others (except price and gaz) think he's dead and he's covering the injuries/burns and his voice is deep because his voice box was permanently damaged
@@stephenhampton7444 ghost in the scene where he takes of the mask looks a lot like alex from mw 2019 same hair color and hairstyle, further evidence would be that alexs name during the entire campaign was displayed like this : ‘alex’ signifying that the name alex was just an alias, i dont want alex to be ghost and i even suspected alex was ghost after finishing mw 2019 campaign years ago since his body was never shown and he could have just faked his death, however different eye color and even completely different voices is kinda weird which could just be alex was wearing contacts and he got injured in the factory explosion resulting in the voice change it could be as simple as that
