I've played everything from excite bike to motocross madness to Supercross circuit to the unleashed series and reflex and the mxgp games. This is the first game I've played in 1st person. It's just soooooo good. As a mx racer in real life it's helped me see real life tracks better
Man, my heart sank a little bit when I saw you don't have a single MX Bikes video hahah Especially since MXB holds that "best customizable and most rideable first person view in any MX game ever" - title. (title given by yours truly) Jokes aside you should prob check it out, you may be missing out)
Mx vs atv has always had a fire first person cam. Also I love how every mx vs atv video on RU-vid has people saying "blah blah mx bikes is so much more realistic" like did people forget the mx vs atv series has always been arcadey and not very realistic? That's what has always given them their charm
I wish MX/ATV would get together with Milestone and maybe they could make a good game together?! Honestly, MESX has always had phenomenal graphics but this looks really good, maybe it’s just the sun and lightning effect that make this game just pop on screen so nice. I hate playing SX/MX in 1st person but I always play Gran Turismo in 1st person. I just like watching the ass end of the dirt bikes slide out as you rip around a right corner in 3rd person. I just think the terrain is really flat in this so you don’t have that BS looking dirt like in like MESX 4/5 (probably SX6 too) where the bike just feels like is floating on the track where this actually looks and feels like the terrain and the bike are directly connected. Honestly, I haven’t played an MX/ATV game since PS/PS2 days so I missed out on Reflex but these guys have been making MX/SX games longer than most people playing them have been alive! I’ve heard they’ve gotten a few right especially Reflex so with the drought in MX/SX games I think Monster Energy should give them the new contract and tell Milestone to kick rocks until they can find the terrain and use the resources these next Gen consoles have
A lot of racing games with Ai have a slow down feature, if you fall too behind they slowdown, also im pretty sure with some games the ai decides how fast they go within the first 10 to 20 seconds so if you go as fast as possible for that amount of time the ai should be a bit hard, idk if legend is the same way but its worth a shot to figure out
Most racing games are like that mx unleashed and mx vs atv unleashed had an option to turn off the rubber banding it actually made the game so hard one wreck or false move and you lost the race super realistic actually
Hold down on left OR right bumper, then use D-pad to adjust your first person camera. You can adjust FOV, angle, position. Make look even more like a GoPro on the top of a helmet, or strapped to a chest rig.
It looks real like it’s been really sped up. It’s like if motocross was on meth at the age of five years old. It’s so stupidly fast it’s like slot car racing it it doesn’t represent the sport of motocross other than the visuals
I manual shift in every game but MX games. There just isn’t enough buttons on the controller in useable places if you use split braking and clutch when you ride.
If they would just slow down the gameplay just a taaad, and make it feel like you actually slot into the ruts this game would be completely goat’d! The speed is ridiculously too fast lol
Fp is what kept me playn this game 3p is so slow snd clunky but fp is pretty dope, if they tweaked just a few things it could be so good but 9/10 for me!
I mean I ride 2 strokes and 4 strokes . I race In mass ..the turns are nothing like real life ...the whoops not even close ..but google cam is most somewhat realist
Third person is for hacks and children who should be playing Mario kart. I don’t care how fast you are in third person, we’re not playing the same game. I like that (some) games are now allowing you to lock out third person camera when making a lobby. I find when I make first person lobbies, you get basically zero rammers in them. People actually race you. Real sims don’t even have third person.
@@MBF120 honestly I'm interested because you were able to land some stuff that would have popped me off lol. And, I seem to be struggling to find the right setting for the "clutch" I either need to get better at the clutch boost, or not worry about it as I'm coming up short on certain areas that I should be nailing.
@@MBF120 basically, you're consistently hitting some of the step ups and stuff that I struggle to hit consistently even with a really good run up to them.
@Mr_Big_Fries Ya bro, hold LB and use the Dpad on ur controller You can adjust the Fov on ur bike to see more of the bike it's so fucking sick bro. You should make a lil video abt so other homies can find out lol
@@MBF120 also good to see you hope on this game. It’s quite spectacular to see how far this game has come since launch. I also recommend finding a really solid 3rd person view that works for you (MAX OUT THAT FOV) That’s how you’ll keep up with them boys in online.
Thank god they’ve started adding the feature to make lobbies and lock camera choices (in some games). Clear out the third person clowns, you clear out all the rammers at the same time.
These "out of track" warnings/sounds are present in motocross games since the very old ones, and it's incredibly annoying. I mean take away points, penalties, but please, I know i'm out of track, i'm driving... and i'm already annoyed, so please stop this.
