Reflex was easily the best game by far. The physics were amazing. However, the reason they haven't come out with one with those physics again (might be wrong with some details) is because they lost the coding. It was either when they were moving studios or something and they lost the hard drives with the coding or their computers got erased. But the developers said in an interview that they lost the coding and couldn't remember how they did it. So there's why
That’s no excuse tho, they had no coding the first time it was made so why can’t they remake them from scratch. Surely they could at least get them abit similar
@@JohnWayne-1984 I think they sold it to the monster and mxgp franchise but they never used it to the extent that reflex did I'm probably wrong but who knows cause today it seems anyo e with enough money and talent can replicate just about any physics
To anyone on the edge of getting it, I personally think it's a great game but has its bugs as it just released (such as out of sync audio bug) graphics are good, the physics seem fun. A little weird with turning where you slide everywhere, but there is a skill gap for jumps, whips, and other sorts of things like that. It also plays more intense then it looks. Overall great game and in a few patches I'm sure the reviews will change.
@@stephenwalker8982 Same but I don’t know if you have checked they updated it like the second or third day and they took that sliding crap out or toned it down
General consensus *People who have actually rode bikes in their real lives-* "This game is kind of sh*t. The engine sounds. The audio. The physics. Another dissapointment.." *RU-vidrs and others who have never once looked in the direction of a bike in their real lives let alone ever rode one-* "This is a fairly solid game! It's really not that bad at all!"
Some of us can't ride any longer. This leaves games, and I've played most of them. None deliver the real experience. But I played these types of games long before thq started making them. I felt like the games were starting to get really good, until thq released the first Ricky Carmichael game. Thq has basically dominated the genre since, and I've never been impressed with any of them. The last really fun mx game I played that wasn't boring after a couple of races was the Travis Pastrana game way back on ps2.
Great vid brotha🤘 definitely have to say Mx vs ATV untamed was legendary.. but this seems interesting.. even though we love the "classics"... feel we gotta tthink about how things can be now rather then before? Hopefully it makes sense. But i am rather intrigued already.. does seem a liiiitttlllleeee dull, but looks like a refreshing new MX experience🤔🙌
I just finished playing MX versus ATV all out and the physics even look different and everything personally my favourite MX versus ATV game is all out because I think it’s amazing game quality is nice and yeah
I will agree that I'm not too sure why people are surprised or angry from this game. Following a trend from the last few games, its about what you'de expect. Granted, each person has different preferences to what they like and dont, but to each their own I suppose.
Dude you cant even view the controls of the game or do tutorials over and over and your trying to back this game its trash right now its missing alot of essential components game should've been delayed further imo
@@SlimSkillz lol im not defending this game by any means, its garbage. But i am surprised that ppl were expecting it to be good. The last four games have been around the same on release 👍
@@SlimSkillz your way to optimistic about game developers these days. They all seem to release way too early and use the internet patches as a crutch. Large title first time releases seem to be the closest exception, because they have to impress. The sequels to them though are right back into the early release partially done games that need several patches. So those of us that don't use the internet connection are really pissed about all the trash they've been shoveling out for years now.
Preload on the left thumbstick instead of the right.... game is awful. Also hitting lines at the same speed as the AI but yet they clear the jump and you dont even make it to a case. The speed is way off. Am pretty sure the AI are rubber banding
people are being over criticle. legends is a good fun game. people just wanna be upset because an arcade game has arcade physics instead of realistic physics.
It’s awful though, look at the way on the gates the npcs wrists just snapping the Rev on and off as a two part animation, same goes for the character snapping up and down. I feel if you’re going to make an arcade game don’t make it with stunning graphics because it just lacks when everything else isn’t realistic
@@jaycornish5916 graphics whore alert. So it's little details that make or break a game? Poor wrist animations? Really? Game play physics I can understand. But wrist animations? Do you watch supercross in real life staring at the riders wrists? If you do you're missing something.
Less customisation then the last games and the bikes handle like crap now and some of the 2 strokes sound like 4 strokes still looks last gen on my series x can see the jumps rendering in as you hit them not too mention the bikes keep launching in the air after casing the landings and why do we have to reverse at the start of every race menus constantly freeze literally plays like a 20$ indie game lol 😂
I haven't played the game that much, but physics wise i feel it is way better than All Out. I didn't like how in All Out everything was ridiculously fast and the bike was light as a feather. I get that its an arcade style game and not a sim like MXGP, but I definitely prefer the Feel of the new game. Customization, at least on ATVs definitely missed the mark though.
The reason why people are mad about this game is. 1: because the game is VERY buggy 2: and most of the people playing it are people that play Motocross games such as Mx Bikes (available on steam) and Mx sim (exe that came out in 2008) witch are 10000 times more realistic than any other arcade games
I been playing tf out this game. And I’ve played reflex again too. I think it’s better in a god bit of its areas. I like the physics more, graphics more, relax dis have more tricks, but for me this game all around i like better than reflex I think some are just playing thru rose tinted glasses
I think you guys are Trippin and have no idea what dirt Viking is like in real life not saying this game is realistic but it’s not supposed to be it’s more mainstream I think it’s the best one by far like absolutely by far maybe it’s just cause I’m on PlayStation five but dude this game is the best and about the bike going 70 miles an hour that’s pretty much how fast they go doing using the slowest professional style bike if that makes sense not talking shit I just don’t want you to hate the game you know
I think he meant mx unleashed not mx vs atv unleashed but anyways that was pretty much the first and last game I sunk a lot of time into for this series and no other off-roading game woll have my heart like mx unleashed does
Honestly mx vs atv unleashed is my personal favorite and i think if they did a remaster of that then i would definitely get back in to thses games. with all that they added with a killer soundtrack i could see people buying it now i certainly would.
So, I've been doing videos on this game and I have no issues with the physics, and the preloading system for the jumps is decent however I'm having a hard time getting used to the scrub physics in this one. although sometimes like you said you think you're going to make a good landing but then you don't. I think the biggest issue currently is there as a lot of glitches but those should be worked out with a couple of patches I'm hoping. This is also the first MX versus ATV where I have done better in races with the dirt bikes than the quads. I have been playing ATV and dirt bike games since like 2000 so I have a lot of experience with this type of game.
I've noticed that if the pro physics are disabled there are a lot less cheap crashes. Pro physics takes away the gyro, which I like anyways and other than that I can't tell that it does much else to change physics or account for skill really so I'm guessing it's broken a bit.
Also the scrub physics are touchy. Gotta attack the sticks pretty hard. You'll know you scrubbed though because the animation looks a bit unnatural. It noticeably boosts you forward and keeps you low with a massive speed boost.
We did the update to not slip and lost all of the national tracks. This game is making me angry. Good thing i spend 60 bucks for crap. Must be a mavtv, MX sports thing.
Does anyone know why racing the AI in the campaign is so easy? Im like 3 hours into it and even on the hardest difficulty with zero machine upgrades , I'm still finishing like 45 seconds before 2nd place. Racing by myself is boring
Let me preface with "im playing the ps5 trial version" Bro I LOVE the gameplay in this game!!! The first person And the way it feels like reflex is AMAZING!!! I feel like reflex had the best physics personally even tho I did love the amount of vehicles in unleashed Also the first person camera is 🔥 🔥
I also started on Unleashed on my PS2. I was probably like 5 or 6. There couldn’t have been a better time growing up to experience all of those OG games
I genuinely love that game i pre ordered it on my ps4 and it has almost perfect physics to me but there are some bugs with the audio other than that they did a great job in my opinion
I can answer this really easily it not reflex. Most of mx vs ATV want a game close to reflex. 2 monster energy supercross the game has set a high to meet. Sx3 But also mx gp game to Two it more. To be fair reflex set a high bar to and get bigger every year. Not have the things.that we had 10 years ago is not helping But that my opinion
@@rustyreese4006 um I don't download skins And my opinion supercross Yes to most people it boring To it more about bike physical and a feel better to me but sx3 was good Ground physical are better wind come to the bike Would be nice to have ruts yes but you need what ever snow runner done
@@ethanthedamonknightgod4418 I haven't played snowrunner yet. I have watched some videos and it looks really good to me though. But I don't have access to the internet for downloading anything, so I usually don't buy games new and pay full price for the partially done games that they release nowadays. I do know that snowrunner has a lot of different maps that you have to download though so I'm not really sure about buying it because I will never get the full game. I might get a used copy someday just to play something new for a while.
