Unfinished games are now consistently a normal thing from large publishers now. This game was doomed from the start. It could have potentially been saved if they had grinded and finished the game quickly or released it that way. But instead like many popular game studios right now…. Cannot finish a game before trying to make people pay for it
@@candles6103 im talking about on release dates they are starting to give the public unfinished games and they are trying to make it the new norm with it. When I say unfinished I mean look at how screwed up Legends was when they released it. All the bikes was messed up they sound on certain tracks almost blew out my TV speakers especially on the desert map. There was very limited bike parts. They had how many years to make this right and they shit the bed.
The biggest issue is the sound by far, specifically the engines. I have been playing Ride 4 for the first time and the engine sounds are immense. A game based around the internal combustion engine needs quality sound. Legends is awful on that front.
Back in 2016 my KTM RC390 I was racing in the KTM RC cup at british superbikes was used for the sound for that bike on ride (2 I think it was at the time?). It was done properly on a dyno with various microphones set up and everything was recorded from turning the key, the sound of the ignition becoming powered and then various power runs were recorded. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s still my bike they’re using for the sounds. Pretty clear cut that compared to milestones audio approach, rainbow/THQ audio guys have never even spelt dyno never mind recorded an actual bike in my opinion
Sure, there are a few things that need to be fixed/added, but overall I'm very pleased with the game. I can jump on for an hour and decompress while I free ride or run a few events and that's all I was looking for. Anything they add to the game at this point is just a bonus for me.
they should just still already include a lot of the bat, in the past they never had to add new stuff there was already plenty. they are timeless games, legends will not be, it's just lazy, it doesn't feel like what I used to play.
It’s a bummer because I grew up on this series. I know the reflex code isn’t available and all. But every year that’s what the majority of the community wants. Why not just attempt to replicate that. I just don’t get it and it’s sad because I want to like it. It’s just hard to force myself to play something that isn’t as good as something made in 09.

Its physics might be even worse; the bikes were basically weightless, had no grip at the rear, flopped around the track like toys, there was basically no gravity and you'd spend egregious amounts of time in the air doing nothing other than waiting to land. The track deformation made it even worse, because the racing surface was as hard as concrete, the AI didn't take any kind of coherent racing line, and the deformation occurred to quickly, causing the track to degenerate into nothing more than a choppy mess than made the issue of weightless bikes even worse. Reflex was objectively shit unless you have no standards for gameplay and game design, or are completely clueless about those concepts. Or you're the intellectual equivalent of a goldfish, because nothing more intelligent could be engaged by the thoughtless nothing that is Reflex's gameplay.

Mx vs atv legends released in such an unfinished state. It basically took a step back from everything that Mx Vs Atv All out has. The physics just aren't fun either. It's a shame because i was excited for it's release, but i only played it for a few days after it launched. I probably wont be touching this game again, it just isn't a great game. If Legends were delayed for another year, i think that would of been really beneficial. They honestly should just abandon Legends, it was a flop.
I can barely even play the game because of all the glitches, frame drops, my bike will stop on a dime and not work for few seconds, etc. AI is also terrible.
I’ve found enjoyment out of EVERY mx vs atv game. With legends, I’ve uninstalled and forgotten about it. I think the game had real potential with the physics, but it was too far from finished to be released.

No,no Redbud is broken on the race side also. if you don't want to get reset you have to cut the track right after the finish line jump. It's not the only track that's broken either. Washougal's timing and scoring is also broken. If you cross the finish line to fast the lap time doesn't reset and you go from 1st to last. I hate to say it though, if they don't get the 1.10 patch out with In this next week. The game will truly be dead, and they might as well Can it and move on to the next project. I liked Legends when it first released a lot better than All Out when it first released, but at this point no one is really playing it and most likely only turn it on to see if the update showed up and then turn it off (like myself). Eventually we're going to stop checking and move on ourselves.
I hate how they’re not communicating with the players. They’ll post a photo with a short vague description and just disappear for weeks. I follow their Twitter and nearly all the comments are people asking about the update they said was coming 3 weeks ago….and they literally don’t reply back
They haven't fixed or worked on anything, but I have. I made a sound mod that is exellent for the 2 strokes. But all the youtubers have ignored me other than El Puppy Jr.
I’m glad i didn’t waste my money on this game. MX vs ATV & Milestone will not be getting anymore of my money until they can make a game that is at least better than Reflex. I am just going to play MX Sim & MX Bikes.
I love this game and play it everyday online, what it really needs is customisable public lobbies! I’d like to play you know MX v atv’s at some point !
I love to play this game, its the best since reflex, and could be even better if they fixed just a couple things and had all the extra content... They could make amazing extreme enduro races, endurocross, worx races, gncc, erzburg, romaniacs... trying to find lines through the cliff faces is so much fun, if they were actually designed and had races through them, they could be insane!!!
I just bought the game, didn't even know a new Mx vs Atv came out. Last I played was Alive. Tbh I love this game, riding is cool, whips are there. Only big downside right now is the career hold the throttle simulator aka the trails
Feels like beating a dead horse, but I haven't really been pulled into an MX v. ATV game since all of the DLC crap. They paywall content that would make the game good if it was included, and that isn't all that appealing to consumers like me.
I have the game on Xbox one s and I have some big issues. My first big issue is frame rate, this is because in freeride it’s a good 30 fps but as soon as I enter a race it’s maybe 10-15 fps. Really makes me sad because I can’t progress with the terrible frame rate. The audio is another thing, the two strokes need new sounds. I feel the four strokes are good for now but I would love to have a 2T dirt bike that’s doesn’t sound like the audio is from the 90s.

I didn’t expect a perfect game. But I expected good audio on the bikes, I expected good wheelie physics, decent competition in career mode instead of shitting on everyone in GOAT setting. THQ created Reflex which was the greatest start to MX gaming we could’ve hoped for. Decades later they release this half baked garbage. I won’t be buying their MX games again and I like to support MX game makers but this was a scam. Milestone needs to own the MX market and release an MX game with all US National tracks.
The game always felt dead with all the empty lobbies on PC at least. If they did something to support community content or added steam workshop support it would be huge and I've got to imagine it'll draw more people in like it does for every other game. Seems like they have 0 interest in that though which sucks.

They need to just try and recreate that reflex feel like most of us want, i know its not easy as the physics coding is lost, but thats what we want, the first game they release that looks to remotly have physics like reflex ill be buying, im not expecting a reflex remaster, just for them to try and go back in that direction
Excellent video bro! I had to delete my save file to restart the MX career! Las Vegas SX on console frame drop to 10-15fps! If you change the color of something, can't reset to default ... and I could continue... It's sad because I like the game
I was completely Gung ho over this game until I finished the career mode and realized that it doesn't continue. You can't even start a new career, once you finish it it's just done completely. Can't continue to a new season, start new, nothing. The game is super fun, lots of content but it just lacked replayability for me because I like career mode. I also wish they would improve the AI like people have asked for. I ran through career mode on legends difficulty lapping the AI multiple times some races.
Well try it now... I was racing MXGP 2020 / 2021 .. Picked this up a week ago and apart from the really bad & broken engine noise, this is Frikkin' incredible... Sooo much better than MXGP and First Person view is the best ever done in a 2 wheeler racer... I was absolutely stunned how good on Series X it runs and the tracks are brilliant. I bought Legends pack.
Still wondering why the games released on ps2 18 years ago have more content than a modern game. I still play those games and honestly prefer them to the modern games. Its not even nostalgia , they were just simply more engaging. Racing those 50cc vs monster trucks. Racing planes in waypoint racing. Mastering the freeride jumps in unleashed. Racing Supermoto. What happened to all this content that just simply came with the games. It sucks as a player.
If the game had a real race series with pro riders like other games do it would be more popular and if you didn’t have to buy each brand of bike individually.

Free ride is missing map. Way points. Compass. And most importantly a way to find your friends. We were looking for a jump line to hit the trophy first jump distance. I found a good spot but trying to get my buddy to me was hard. I had to just say “ride south west of the garage and look for the wind turbines. I’m by the straight rhythm track on the most elevated point”. So most people aren’t going to be able to give directions like that. Better yet just give us shareable way points

I'm a former rider and lifelong mx gamer. When I tried all out, it was too arcade. You could go full throttle in the corners, didn't need the brake, it acted like it had stability control and you couldn't kick anything sideways. If your a kid or an entry level mx gamer who doesn't wanna have to actually lift and brake, then mx vs atv is for you. If you have talent and understand the fundamentals of physics, then milestone is for you. After 10 minutes of playin all out, I deleted it and refuse to buy legends. If it were possible, reflex remastered would be the best selling mx game.

Just as I suspected. Already a dead game, and we haven't received the dlc we paid for and if we aren't going to that's a huge waste of money. Maybe I'm jumping the gun but I just feel like there should have already been an update by now of some sort. I'm still kicking myself for buying the Icon edition or whatever it was. Total waste of 80 bucks and it's my fault I should have known better. Wishful thinking or hoping I guess. The bug thing for me is not fixing the things the last update broke like redbud. Atleast patch those things cause it's caused framerate issues on some tracks as well for me like Las Vegas.
I’ll be honest, once I played the game without the preload function I loved it so much more. Since it’s been brought back it just kills the fun for me.
I enjoy the game but there's just too many things that they basically removed from the game that was in All Out, including customization of Rider and Bike. I enjoyed the slider adjustment on the bike and buying aftermarket parts to increase HP and other things etc. The one thing that really gets me is No Online play for the compound and a bunch of the national tracks (like Overlook for Example) and other tracks without going to a Map that no one plays online. In All Out you could race the tracks at the compound against people Online and you could also switch bikes without having to back out of a race online, it just seems harder to do now. If a certain track comes up that I like to use a 450 on then a track comes up that I like to use a 250 on it's like impossible to switch bikes online now.. Also Supercross needs to be 5 laps or more and Nationals should be more too..
The game just looks so goofy nothing about it makes me want to blow 50$ dollars of my hard earned money when the game is basically still in beta stage... I'm surprised they are still in business. And alot other game manufacturers doing the exact same thing Unfinished product with a full price tag doesn't sit well with me... it's drawn me away from gaming because of it
This game is the shit. I’ve played all of them and did tournaments on the last 2-3 games. Ride first person!! I can’t play any mx game unless I’m in first person. This game will be OG after a couple updates and tuning changes.
There is really bad bike customizations just as much as gear, exhaust, rims, graphics, literally everything about the rider and bike need MORE! it’s shameful. More tracks would certainly be nice too.
I’ve been bummed since day one of buying it. I’m not a casual fan either. Maybe it’s just me but I prefer the milestone games. I wish milestone made a American Motocross game with their Supercross game.
I think the biggest thing Rainbow needs to realize is that many people play this game, then go back to an unmodded version of Reflex. There’s a lot of time and effort that went into a lot of aspects that the game could have gone without. The free roam is lifeless, the physics don’t feel natural. It’s not far off in a lot of ways, but I feel like effort should go into making a new game equal to or better than older releases, then focus on adding content.
They should hold an officiall championship series if they want to be a live service. That would keep people trying to get better and with that play the game to qualifie

I’m a bit torn on this one. On one hand I want extra content as soon as possible. On the other hand I don’t want it rushed out and be a bug fest. I payed a lot of money for the icon pass so at the moment I do feel ripped off.

Honestly with what it looked like from the beginning no one should have bought the game. If enough people keep buying these unfinished game they will continue to release them! We just want them to try and get close to reflex that’s it! I’ve seen better ideas in these comments than they give us…
I feel the Mx game content creators hyped the game up way to much when given the early access in fear of offending the MvA/Rainbowstudio, instead of giving there real opinion(terrible game). This resulted in making MvA feel accomplished, when in reality they created a terrible game. They need to focus on replicating Reflex, that’s what they need to invest there money into, if they actually want to be a successful company, wether it takes 3, 4 or 5 years, make reflex again.
They should be in trouble, the new games suck compared to the old ones. Untamed had monster trucks, trophy trucks, sand rails, every vehicle that legends has, a ton of massive free roam maps, way more tracks, more game modes like snake, rally, enduro, stunt competitions, and in my opinion the greatest sound track ever made. the oldest games even had AIRPLANES. the new game has just moto, quad and side by side racing with minimal free roam. The older ones feel like they had heart and soul poured into them by people who wanted to create something cool. Not just pump out another cash grab game. I will admit I do love the physics and control of legends but also why is the map so color saturated. It looks like the colors were chosen by kids.
Their first mistake happened launch day. It’s appreciated they still try to make moto games but as they progressively just get worse and worse, you’d think they would take notice of how their last two games are completely identical, with almost nothing to offer. Coming from someone who hasn’t bought this, but has seen enough to know this game is just a disappointment. They should take notice, cut their losses, and start looking for new people to help develop their moto games and start from scratch. Underground moto games are coming up from people who have never been heard of before, and those games are already significantly better than All out and Legends.
This game has always been too cartoonish looking for me, I can’t have fun playing it, feels like something that should be on ps2 tbh. Seems completely unfinished with lack of customization seems like a random team of game makers could’ve done a better job
Now imagine if it came out in may.. Coming from racing the esports events on all out I had high hopes for the game and I think the esports stuff keeps the game alive very well and after 3 months and there still isn’t 16 manned private lobbies it isn’t even fun anymore
The game has its issues but I enjoy it still what ultimatley made me stop playing was the fact theres 20 players on pc everday and I can never find races online.
I was for sure bc one of the guys that wanted it to release regardless and imo every game including triple A titles. Are completely busted at launch, cod doesn’t have working camo challenges in map bugs, siege has broken sound and hit reg. And I haven’t been able to connect to fortnite in years same w apex. It wasn’t the release that killed the game for me it was the promise of a live updated game, that’s gotten 2 updates in 3-4 months
I waisted so much money on this game. I don't even play it no more. It got lame real fast. I like to free ride and the free ride is horrible on this game. You don't even get a tire track or rut in the grass and there is only a handful of stuff you can hit outside of every track and land it perfectly. The hills especially the sand dunes are garbage. I'm super bummed that they messed it up. This game could have been great and still can if they do what your talking about in your video. All I know in the future of mx games if they can't get the bike sounds right then they definitely won't have anything else right.
Imo this is one the of the worst mx vs atv games expect for the graphics… the lack of customization, all the bugs and the GAMEPLAY!! The bike doesn’t move expect for the suspension when hitting jumps, it turns almost in a 90 degree turn like nothing flat landing a triple like nothing, it feels like your « floating » over the jumps! Also, turns are really slidy in some races etc etc! It feels like a ps2 game with 2022 graphics to me…. Really sad about this game played it for 2hours and deleted it after
What i really hated is i payed 60 euros for this game, only to once again find out that brands are behind a paywall... not only that, when i decided to get some brands like yamaha and ktm etc i instantly found out i couldnt really customize the plastics and what not that made pissed off honestly
After the first couple of weeks I uninstalled. There just isn’t anything to keep me invested, sure you can run hot laps on tracks but apart from that there’s nothing. The multiplayer is VERY underwhelming in the sense that their is no real reward to winning besides seeing your name on the leaderboard. I’m not going to pretend like I know anything about game development but this is a 20+ year old series so it’s disappointing to see they have yet to get it right since the early 00’s. I wanted to love this game but it’s for a lack of better words boring.
I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT GEAR, OR DLC. the game is underwhelming when comparing it to reflex. if i had one set of gear, and one bike (that wasnt even a real brand and was some made up brand like kawashuma) but the physics played as good as reflex does, i would be happy. The tracks in legends are great, they are sick. the graphics are sick. i could care less about the bike sounds (have a dude fart into a mic and lay that over the 450 sound for all i care). the truth is, legends is a flop cause it does not play well. i will play legends for weeks, and then go back to reflex for shits and gits, and i think to myself "where did they go wrong" this plays so much smoother, the game flows so much better. and the game is 13 years old. if nordic games wants to win back motocross fans, they are going to have to brake bread with rainbow studios (or whoever it is that owns the rights to the games physics of reflex)

Owned this game for no more than a day...(ps4) Very disappointed in the way it played... graphics were abit of an improvement but overall it just didn't feel ..fun.. I really think I will enjoy mxgp21 it looks good.. has anyone else played this?
the last patch broke my game, crazy lag for no reason i did everything to try and fix it and got no where. i havent been able to play since, pretty annoying especially since i bought the more expensive version of it to get all the launch dlc stuff
