It was the best time for gaming. MX vs ATV Reflex and the original MW2 came out with in a few weeks of each other. Had a good group, we played Reflex then MW2 every night. Every few days had a MXonlinetournament race on Reflex. Great times!
Hands down the best mx vs atv games ever made quit really liking them once they added the clutch boosting wish they would have just added to what this game had mastered
I still play this game from time to time in 2024. It's become my cope with college stress lol, and I'm sure the little kid version of me would be elated to know that I still play it
Brings back so many memories with this game series. I specifically remember playing mx vs arc alive more than 10 years ago when I was about 4 I used to love playing it so with my dad. Thanks for the nostalgia.
They are working on conpletelt replacing current audio for Legends which was from All Out with new sounds built off Encore audio (which was based on reflex) I wanna try mods on here also but its pretty difficult to figure out.
I love your commentary on Boxcar! I actually made this track and the other one that shares the same 'under the bridge' environment. (don't remember the name) In fact, I made MANY tracks and environments over the years and I love when I hear someone express how much they enjoy them. I was always trying to push the envelope and make ideas that could be realistic but crazy enough that you would probably only see them in a video game. I designed both Kingston tracks, both Fort Dodge tracks and many other fan favorites. I must be clear though, I had the main vision and laid out the initial design (track path, displacement and overall vision.) Art and many others were involved in the final product and it takes an army to complete ambitious designs like this. Thank again for the awesome feedback!!
@@troyjannn I started way back on ATV Offroad Fury. I moved to Motocross Madness for XBOX and it got cancelled. I incorporated those designs into ATV Offroad Fury 2 and that started a wild ride that has spanned over 17 years and TONS of titles, tracks, and environments. I am currently working on what I feel will be the best Freeride environment ever created. I hope it ships so everyone can tell me if they agree. There is so much great content out there, it becomes difficult to make anything that will really make people notice. Thanks again for the kind words!
i tried playing this on pc but i cannot control the jumps. which keys for control and which keys to control landing and doing tricks? any real video guide for pc players will be a real help !
Man you gotta get a console controller and hook it up to your pc...99.9% of keyboards register input as binary, so you won't even be able to tweak how hard you're turning/leaning/scrubbing etc. this game is not playable without a controller I'd imagine haha
Everybody says reflex is still the best. Yes during its time it was the best but this game has aged so poorly with awfully stiff physics. Riders dont stand up straight and hold their leg out motogp style when turning. Yall are crazy. Still holds a special place but let's not pretend it isn't aging.
These tracks would be sick in mx bikes. The tracks were developed by stephon roncada and Michael Mamula. The team wanted smoother tracks but the6 wanted to show off the deformation. The 2 tracks they had free reign over were sugar ridge and sandwick. Mike still plays some but he also helps with the track maps 🤘🏻
I know these guys! LOL! I have always kept a VERY low profile but have been a little more engaged lately on discussions and sharing my involvement. I went by DIZ_NoRebase and was lucky enough to get hired by Rainbow Studios straight out of the mod community. It took many different disciplines and a TON of people to pull off the whole game... and even a single level, but I have created the base of most every level I see or hear about and not many people know me.
