you know theres a secret 3-d texture in this game... if you go in to 1st person... and crank up the verticle screen height on your tv/monitor...it becomes highly textured...super playable still..insanely big jumps on some of the tracks..."ie",st.paul...los angeles...denver...all become breathtaking tracks...really. if you then respect the tracks,"ie",use a little brake now and then and not just go full throttle like a little kid...! the ai will slow down, match you, steal your lines,etc.. but you have to ride it like a simulation..that means landing jumps at least with the back tire on the landing slope...pulling in the clutch and really gitting on the brakes comin into corners etc... and if you race real race lengths they will ride even more realistically... nother side note....pressing X and square at the same time.. triggers heavy front and rear braking..square ismore of just slow down... also the tranny is 2 range..at low speed its like 2nd press clutch goes into 3rd...at higher speeds its like 4th and 5th... i think you have to double tap clutch to gear down....may even have to hit clutch and brake at same time.. even more...i'm sure i feel a change in body position by hitting either R3 or L3..and a weight transfer from front to back on the other... with serious tv pictures setting skills, this game is unbeleivable...for true sim feel you have to get ver vs. hor vs. screen height just rite.. on my 47" the bars are just as wide as the set...screen raised almost all the way up.. and the picture verticle height about 4 to 5 times the width .. the other riders look a little skinny...but the track becomes very lumpy, rutty, carved, textured and realistically narrow... i'm telling ya...they had some sort of awesome game planned that the consoles of the time just couldn't produce...but it's in there buried in your display settings.. played only this game on ps2 for like 8 years...eveynite..couple hrs.. higher than a bats ass...face about a foot from the set.. insanity...was awesome... somebody with the desktop version, please tweak aspect ratios and convert a video for VR...you'll then know what Mx vs. Atv unleashed is all about.

Hey Wind, Glad to see your going back to the roots of the MX vs ATV series, The Best one in my opinion is Alive. It would be crazy cool if you could throw it wayyyy back to the days of Ps2 and Atv offroad Fury, but that would be hard to record, anyways keep up the good work!
