I just bought this game again for Xbox but for some reason I can't fully pre-load, my pre load meter doesn't even fill up halfway despite me doing it perfectly, i don't case out jumps nowhere near as bad and i definitely don't remember having this problem when i played it years and years ago on 360 so idk if it was some sort of improvement they made to the game or what but its really frustrating due to not being able to fully pre load to clear jumps, re-installing it did nothing, anyone know what's up with it?
Good to know it's not just me. I have a similar problem if you can tell by my weak preloads in this vid lol. I feel like if you play it on original 360 with the controller it's fine but with the backward compat version with the new Series X controller, I can never get the preload max as I could back in the day.
@@ProjectGameVault i played it earlier and noticed the only way i can fully pre-load is if I slam the left stick very hard (to the point of breaking it type of hard), it sounds like a problem that more than likely won't ever get fixed which really sucks, this game was my childhood lol.
@@kici5777 honestly not sure but my guess is its just an old game so they don't wanna waste any time on a solution, it has to be something with the backwards compatibility (im guessing calibration maybe) because the only way it works is if I slam the pre load stick extremely hard which sucks because i'm not about to break my controller just to play this game, this game was extremely fun back in the day when i was a kid so I'm bummed i can't play the career mode without absolutely struggling, oh well at least Reflex is available lol.
@@ds--pu1tv it’s an fps issue, the interpolation makes it really hard to do, it’s the same thing with GTA 4’s final mission where you have to spam A to get in a helicopter. It’s impossible because you have to press faster than 60 fps
@@ryandresser9643 that's weird, it works for me. Clicked on the network icon in the main menu, then hit the Y button to get to settings then clicked on audio settings and from their make sure menu music is not all the way down. Kinda hard to tell without seeing your screen
