MXGP OF LOMMEL - The toughest motocross race in the world !!! 

If the television camera had the ability to capture 10% of the excitement and difficulty of this sport, it could be able to move away from fans being mostly comprised of current and past racers. Back in the cradle of this sport in the US in the 1970s, there was a nuclear power plant on the shore of Lake Michigan just north of Chicago. We could ride this area year round due to it being sand. It, too, was endless bike swallowing whoops... or should I call them huge rutted, never-groomed ditches with small, gnarly, rutted ever-changing hills... Brutal. It got so brutal after several seasons many of the top Midwest riders didn't even practice there any longer.
