Lewis please don’t think I’m blowing smoke but you’re totally won the most well deserving kick butt journalist award from me. Formally wondering why Vital would bring you on board and I’m not sure why I thought that but you are truly the most professional journalist we have in the sport of motocross/Supercross and you and Adam’s MXGP podcast brought it to light for me. Thanks for being you! I’m truly a fan of good journalism and you fill that role very well. ❤🙏🇺🇸
18:18 tldr it took us like 3 hours to leave the "vip" parking once nations was over literally waited 2 whole hours trying to leave the """vip""" parking, and during those two hours we literally did not move a centimeter. then a lady came driving towards the opposite direction and she told us that the road got closed (which turned out to be true according to waze, but we had no idea as there was literally no mobile data coverage around the track, or in the parking lot/field but whatever), so, we had to go to the vip parking/camping enterance and thats where we could leave, but even that was a misery as ppl were already tweaking hard, there was no traffic control until some ppl volunteered and played a traffic warden (shoutout to you guys, genuinely good job). so after about 2,5-3 hours we could actually leave the track. the cars, camping vans, vans, trucks were heading north towards the "regular" parking (which was already empty by then, probably hours ago). i dont really have anything other against how the event was organised, but that parking thing was absolutely abyssmal and whoever thought that a single lane will be enough for 2 tiers of camping, the whole vip parking, the whole paddock and the smaller bluecru camping to leave should be checked out by a professional
Thank you for your efforts in educating Lewis, Adam. He can be a bit rough on the edges sometimes. And snubbing the Beatles qualifies, at least in my book.
Jett has never had a Lead or a Win of 1 Minute and 35 seconds or more neither,,, BUT ELI TOMAC HAS, on his first ever 450 race... go look it up. So swallow the Jett nuts and and take a deep breath..... most you new guys to Moto dont realize that Jett hasnt done anything that hasnt been done several times before so chill brah... Also all of jetts major competition is almost 30 years old or over 30 years old and is close to retirement..
Someone in Kay’s circle please be aware of the new “rule” in Supercross being that whoops are reduced to only 9 . So going balls out and hurting yourself training big whoops for Sx would be redundant, as they don’t even have tracks like that anymore . stay healthy and if you’re feeling it, clock yourself against a pro who’s training for 2025 Sx like Vialle , Kitchen, or Hampshire, Baumer , etc ..
Dazzy did a interview on pulp mx he said they want to win everything and be out of the sport when Jett is 25, i don't think we see Jett when he's 30! there's a plan.
I’m guessing Febvre’s black eyes and Tomac’s bloody nose were because the riders had to bin their googles due to mist and drizzle? Also why Vialle was down field in both motos, he went in for goggles numerous times in both races🤦♂️🏴🇬🇧
Jett hasn’t beat a fully heathly tomac yet in moto. I think if he wins sx and mx this year with a full tomac then I could see him seeing what else it out there. As much as I want to see Jett vs Deegan I’m worried Jett will be over it by then.
I don’t understand why they are going back to ernee so fast. IMO there are a few tracks in the US like ironman, redbud, spring creek, unadilla and glen helan that can all handle it.
I know that this will come as a surprise but, whoever pays the money can get an MXoN. It is nice that you are thinking of fan experience and logistics. I don't think Upfront could give a shit about that as long as they get paid.
Remember in this podcast, when I said that we know what we are talking about? After Latvia in 2014, Infront realized that the MXoN must be exclusive to countries that work. Italy, France, UK and USA is mostly it. That's why 2014, Latvia, was the last time that the event went to quite an obscure country.
Here’s one we should be talking about in race 3 Mxon Hunter Lawrence was only beaten by one Mxgp rider so why don’t Hunter move over to Mxgp with a very strong chance of winning titles instead of throwing both boys into the same title chase I know it’s a big call but Hunter wants championships as much as Jet Just saying maybe 2026
I can't see Jett coming to MXGP. Not that the championship isn't cool or meaningful, but that i don't think he would do it unless he gets paid the same money he gets here. I'm willing to bet he gets paid more than any MXGP rider in-terms of salary and bonuses, and won't want to give up any of his lucrative endorsement deals. I bet once you get used to that level of income it's hard to accept less.
Japan is in deep finance problems, and the FIM don't help with sticky fingers in the pie but no privateers as no start money and yes lets travel to the other side of the world to race and no full line ups on the start gates and then to run a event the insurance is mined blowing. The world is in a major recession and it's going to get very bad as no one has money to spend.
Why they are moving Lucas up to mxgp is mine blowing. I honestly think this still back fire. I hope I'm wrong but I can't recall a time this went well for anyone
