Girl yes re: the bench in the entranceway - essential. You need somewhere to drop your purse/sit down to take off your shoes/put down your mail/etc. when you get into your place. My new flat (I moved to London) has nowhere to put a bench, even a narrow one, so I have to put my stuff on the floor when I get in - super annoying. Your apartment is so cute! Loved this tour.

I definitely still use LECA, I've been gifted a few plants though that are in soil. I also need to stake my Monstera so some good plant content should be coming soon.
The table! I bought one because I saw it in another tour of yours maybe 3 years ago and it was exactly what I was looking for. Still have mine and still love it
How about we are on the top floor but can still hear my neighbors below us because “the renovations they got” include pot lights but no insulation. When I say we hear everything. I mean we hear 👂 EVERYTHING.

that is SUCH a cute apartment. I've been toying with the idea of getting a place in town. I moved to sweden for Grad school but live (rent FREE baby) with my dad like two towns over. In winter that makes for a four hour commute round trip and it gets old pretty fast but I'm terrified of getting a place because of how different the realestate market is here and I just don't wanna get trapped in a contract I don't understand... sooner or later I'll just have to learn to teleport.

I did a currency conversion. Being in Africa I find it so crazy how much people pay to rent an apartment, in America. For the amount you are paying, where I stay you could rent a 2 story 3 bedroom townhouse with a pool and big back yard. Freak man on average to rent a 2 bedroom to 3 bedroom apartment in SA is about $500 to $700. But then I realise if someone is paying $1700 for rent it means you gotta be earning a heck of a lot, cause that rent is some people's average salary after tax, so I guess it all works out

I was the same way when I got my full size washer and dryer, in my brand spanking new apartment. Building was darn near empty when I moved in, then the panorama happened and the place filled up in no time.
I bought that same table. I don't know what our square footage is either but that table is so wonderful. We keep it folded down and put it up when we are eating. I am still waiting for my monstera to mature and to give me some fenestrations. Tips are welcome and wow yours has matured so beautifully. Yes to the plant tour, yes to the desk tour and please can you link the bench?

We bought the hybrid tuft and needle and I do recommend. I like it a lot it’s INCREDIBLY HEAVY thooo just fyi getting it shipped to you and unpacking it is a work out

Upstairs might have young kids if it sounds like that. Toddlers especially are constantly running around and falling down and picking up and dropping toys and things. I lived under a family with a 3yr old and it sounded like a construction site
