Hello from Australia. 水鱼 was the animal that looks like turtle in the wet market. First time watching your video and bringing back so many memories. My hometown is Nanning too and I haven't been back for 4 years. Well done for making this video. Nanning is developing/changing so fast in the past ten years! But something has never changed.
Support from Canada. I’m a Chinese Canadian and I have some Guangxi friends, I think Guangxi people are quite hospitable, and I’m planning to visit Nanning in the future.
Wow I have been to Nanning in 11 years. Can’t believe how much greater it has changed. Compared to other province in China Nanning was my favorite place to stay. But yeah that crazy 2 season weather is crazy. I guess cause it’s so closed to Vietnam and the way you can eat with the stoods as a table is similarity to Vietnam’s style lol. And great thing about Nanning, people speak Cantonese so it’s was easier for me to get around. Glad I found your channel. lol would like you to be my tour guide if I go to back to Nanning to visit 😂😂😂
Trying to decide between Guangzhou and Nanning to move to. I'm stunned how similar Guangxi food is to Guangdong food. Being an Overseas Chinese with Guangdong roots, I think I'll love Guangxi food just as much as 粤菜。
Do you speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin? I speak Cantonese, but not Mandarin, so I'm trying to figure out if I can get by with Cantonese in Nanning. Perhaps you should also consider Zhangjing. I found that I had some issues in Guangzhou with the language, but almost everyone I met in Zhangjing spoke Cantonese, including the taxi drivers and the hotel staff, which wasn't the case in Guangzhou.
Every time I went to Nanning I was so happy. The people of Nanning are super friendly and polite and pure. They smile at you when you are on the street or in the shopping mall. Their accent is super funny. People are happy! I miss Nanning
Yes, I lived in Nanning for over 4 years , and compared to the mega cities I did, Nanning is by far the best. Amazing people and food. I am planning to relocate in Nanning again
Gimme a bowl of old friend noodles please!! It's not strange or anything if the noodles are sour. It tastes better. I always put some vineger in my soup noodles. Sometimes I use lemon or lime and sometimes just plain vineger or apple cider vineger. Have you tried instant cup noodles with vineger? I did.
Just found your chanel this morning and have finished watching all your videos at the afternoon! Your chanel is so underrrated as the concept is so fun and informative and the editting is well executed, I’m proud of you as I’m from Nanning too. I believe your talent will take you to a lot of new heights. 🥰🥰🥰 Can’t wait to see more stuff you bring on the the chanel!!!
Nice video. My first overseas posting and guess where? Nanning! Been here for the past 4 years and would be interested in visiting some of the places you featured! Would be great if you could share the addresses?
Hi! New sub here, your videos are great but short! Make more of them don't be lazy! China is opening back to the tourists, so I want to visit it soon! 🐌🐢
I’m really contemplating going to Nanning to stay. I’m just nervous about the language barrier. I’m planning on retiring to either the Philippines, Thailand or China (Nanning).
