Please explain to me how we live in a world where George "The fragrance apprentice" only has 23k subscribers and the likes of Chaos fragrances has like 74k + subs..? Please explain that one because it baffles the f**k out of me..anyway I'm digressing that's just a little gripe of mine so lets carry on..My most worn colder weather fragrances I've been wearing this year so far have been..Versace dreamer..Issey Miyake's Noir Ambre..Prada amber..Dior Homme "original"..and Armani stronger "intensely"..
Sampling is a waste of money. You know what you like in a fragrance and when someone breaks down a fragrance like George does, its pretty easy to tell if youll like it or not. My collection is 120 bottles and i have sampled maybe 10 of them first and i do not hate a single fragrance i own, or even dislike one for that matter
I've been rocking Aaron Terrence Hughes arabica start of the year creed virgin water / jpg superman summer spice bomb extreme / tf oud tabbaco / tf tabbaco vanille now I've brought some boss private on your recommendation should be arriving Tommrow 🤞 royal mail 😡
Last year and this year was my first years getting into fragrances properly. Ive been wearing the hell out of aqua di gio profumo, prada carbon, Mercedes for men intense and stronger with you intensely. They have defoes been my most worn
@@coolbreeze2.0-mortemadfasc13 ADP Futura is good, but don't wait for something awesome. ADP Essenza and Colonia Pura are much better. Greetings from Brazil.
Great video, I have only recently discovered bleu Parfum, ordered it tonight. Most worn of the year is Cartier Declaration Parfum, I have been obsessed with it, followed by Eau Sauvage Edp and thirdly an old favourite, M7. Still so much hype everywhere about l'homme de la nuit, M7 still the best thing YSL make.
Bleu de Chanel Parfum is most definitely the best iteration of that fragrance. It's also my particular favorite blue fragrance with Sauvage EDP running a close second and Ferragamo Acqua Essenziale Blu is third. My most worn fragrances this year are 1 Million Absolutely Gold, a sadly discontinued but simply outstanding fragrance. Givenchy Gentleman Eau De Parfum and Dior H'omme Intense.
I agree that BdC Parfum is a great pick; I just wish it had more projection. The EDP (at least the 2016 formulation I own) has it beat handily in this aspect. Other than that, it’s perfect because it does feel more mature, infinitely better blended and extremely refined. EDIT: You made me grab a bottle of Montblanc Explorer today lol. I disliked CDNIM, the opening felt too synthetic to my nose and the drydown just wasn’t up to my taste. Explorer is just great, it’s better than CDNIM in my opinion by a mile and just an easy dumb reach. I don’t care about longevity when the fragrance is worth $40. Thanks for the recommendations!
Mercedes-Benz colonge vs dior homme colonge is the match up. I own both and its a back and forth race with no winner yet. Chanel allure homme sport colonge is in 3rd, which i also own
I've been wearing a lot of fragrance oils lately, they seem to cut through the winter air quite well. I actually get more compliments from my oils than my spray's. I've got zara blue hole a dior homme cologne clone apparently. it's so weak and smells like washing up liquid it's overhyped online as are most zara fragrance's, I agree with you save up and buy dior homme cologne . Buy axis elegant man or writer by cyrus there smother that sauvage and have better longevity than prada carbon they only cost £10- 15 .
Must admit its by far club De Nuit Intense man And sauvage Just bought Carlisle might be my cold scent, sold spacebomb, the tobacco was unpleasant for me to wear, great compliments though 😏
Great video from the master. Fantastic list, and love the way you discuss fragrances. Nobody does this like you, George. I feel the exact same way you do regarding Sauvage, and I also love Carbon. Been wearing the hell out of it this year. Also been wearing a lot of The Scent Private Accord, Azzaro PH Intense, Moustache EDP, and Sartorial (as usual). Be well! 🍻
Most of the flankers this year seem like they were geared towards the "clubbing crew" who matured into grown ups. And that has done wonders for the industry. We have so many options!!
I can't decide between Dior Homme Sport and Dior Homme cologne! I smelled both really long ago but it's hard to find any place to test them now and I forgot their scent, I might have to blind buy haha
Have you worn more fragrances, vest, or ascots is what id like to know? Are can one not be worn without the others? Absolutely love the chanel. Cheers from across the pond
I have worn Explorer the most at the start of the year and Boss Bottled Intense the most when it got a bit cooler. For next year, I've ordered Mont Blanc Legend EDP and Mancera Cedrat Boise which I will be wearing a lot in Spring/Summer. By the end of 2021 I'll most likely look into getting some Ouds as my collection has enough Sweet/Vanilla/Tobacco scents, but no Oud. Ferragamo apparently released an Oud this year which seems to be underrated. I'll have to give it a test.
What better fragrance to associate with my 1 year sting at Melbrourne... Than Gucci Envy! Every time I smell it I think of the sleepless nights and endless partying at cookie and transport! Well said George!
I fell in love with the M7 DNA this year so two of my most worn this year are: YSL-M7 Oud Absolu PARFUMS VINTAGE- Maverick, a dupe for M7 fresh Also on my most worn list: ARMAF-Milestone based on your review CHANEL-Bleu Parfum YSL-Opium Pour Momme BENTLEY- Four Men Intense NISHANE-Hacivat
Very interesting that you are leaning so heavily on Bleu De Chanel. In a year where I have sampled and worn more fragrances than ever before, Tom Ford Grey Vetiver is still my do it all, wear it anytime workhorse. The only fragrance I would (and now have) backed up with another bottle.
Enjoying your new place with the exposed brick. I wish you’d sit a bit further from the wall tho-I have this vision of you being guillotined at the waist by the table
Great video once again. Not sure if I should even say this.... might sound like that nosey jerk every class have.... well someone could think that you were actually talking dior homme and not dior homme cologne.... because of close up description. Sorry 🙄
Would you agree that the house of Creed is not the same as it was 10 years ago? I bought Bois de Portugal, and it is so watered down, and no sillage, that it was better and longer lasting 10 years ago. How badly the house of Creed has changed! Oh yes, Great channel!
@6:33 When talking about Dior Homme Cologne you mention the Zara , but the Mercedes Benz Cologne does the Dior Homme Cologne a lot more justice. Price difference per ml might not be so different from the Dior itself though, depending on bottle sizes and region.
For me it was : - YSL, La nuit de l’homme EDT and EDP - Guerlain, Santal Royal - Dior, Fahrenheit - Tom Ford, Noir - Tom Ford, Ombré Leather - Acqua di Gio, Profumo - Versace, Dylan Blue
I like the most worn lists that are popping up. You've got some that were expected and some that were surprises. For me, my most worn (all tied at 4x each) are: Armani Prive-Orangerie Venise Cartier-Oud Radieux Coach-Coach For Men
Really must try Blue de Chanel parfume asked in two places for a sniff and they could only offer edp or edt so I politely declined as not to ruin my first ever sniff of any ie parfume version good video George oh and I see now why ya had to re-load the banned advert vid typical policy ott drivel from you tube police hmm 🤔
great review, thank you 👌👌👌 | my most worn fragrances in 2020 are: - Hacivat Nishane - PDM Layton - PDM Carlisle - Black Phantom By Kilian - Angels Share By Kilian - D&G Light Blue Eau Intense Pour Homme
Man I’m really struggling deciding weather to get the EDP or Parfum version of bdc. Every time I hear you address it you always have me leaning parfum. I’m honestly not a fan of most incense notes, however if anyone can do it right it’s Chanel. I’m gonna commit to the 5 oz bottle at Macy’s.
@@TheFragranceApprentice Frankincense is one of my favorite scents ever. Ever. And paired with myrrh? No wonder Jesus thought he was the son of God. Be well m8!
I picked up Prada Carbon for cheap at a winners and fell in love. And judging by the amount of positive reactions from friends and strangers, I can assert that others loved it too. It may be inspired by Dior Sauvage, but it certainly has Prada’s renowned touch of sophistication.
Been wearing a few fragrances that I'm not a huge fan of as I've been working from home all year, and saving the ones I like for more occasions when I can actually go out. Picked up Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Cologne, during the summer and fell in love, bought a back up bottle as it's discontinued and also looking at the others in the line
