Your videos are always awesome and you present information very well. I am inspired by you. I hope you continue to make videos because I learn so much and just enjoy watching you present the information.
I have followed you now for a number of years and my amateur /hobby passion for photography has massively improved. Although I have no interest in being a Profesional I found this video fascinating. Thank you, Serge.
Thanks, after watching a few so-called "Fine Art" tutorials, I found this one the best of the lot. It's just no good photographing other people's art and passing it off as your own, or cheating with a boring photo in Photoshop.
I’ve been following and watching your videos for six years now and i’ve bought 2 or three tutorials, my respect for you as a person and an artist grows every day... you genuinely share your knowledge as if you’re a good brother.... you’re the best!
This video really inspired me, I have had struggle for the past 15 years since I got started into photography. I am still having this "will it work? It might or might fail" mentality right now. I registered my own business last 2 Fridays ago and have been trying to make MOVE somehow. Your 10 tips were enough, it gave me a sense of direction as to where I should go and what my next step should be. I really appreciate that you took time and made this video voluntarily and it is a big help for me! Your pictures are awesome, maybe someday I'll copy your work in progress to find my own new voice. Have a great day!
I’ve just watched this for the first time as really need to thank you Serge. For some months now I’ve been thinking about trying new aspects of photography and giving myself a project. Everything you have just said here has made an impact. I’m going to go and do it. I’ve just spent 10 minutes learning from you and it’s been so worth it. 🙏
That Video just blew me away! I heard your name and saw your images every once in a while, but hearing you with such honesty and wisdom, this Video is going to be repeated in the following weeks to really implement your story, insights and helping tips. Thank you very much for doing such a great content for free! Dirksón!
I'm just starting to watch your video with the no. 1 step you have to make, the "decision", and my eyes became teary because It deeply struck my heart.. that is very true..
@@SergeRamelliPhotography Thank you sir. I am one of those who purchased the 5DayDeal bundle because yours is included and I am glad I got your Fine Art Photography Masterclass. I hope someday I can be able to meet you in person.. My respect and gratitude is yours. God bless you and your family. 🙏
I have purchased many coursed from Serge. In my earlier days I learned so much from him about black and white, processing with Lightroom and Photoshop and producing powerful images. Over time I got into other things and didn't watch a lot of the courses I bought. In the past few weeks I went back to them and Voila. So much the revisit and to learn for the first time. Nobody produces greater images with less effort than you. I am now teaching Photoshop but now I am planning to show my students stuff I am learning to do in Lightroom (ACR) that produce amazing results. Thanks for all you teach.
Serge! I've followed you for a long time and these are some great tips. I made the decision to go 'full time' with my photography a few months ago, and made the leap earlier this year. Your tips will reinforce that decision and many decisions I will no doubt make along the way. Thank you!
Oh my, Serge! You inspire me so much. I absolutely love your honesty and openness with your background, stories, and even how much money you make on certain things. You are so helpful and it really shows how much you really want others to be successful. You have a big heart, just as big as your talent. Thanks for the continued inspiration my friend.

This video is so valuable, I remember having watched it a year ago and now "having made the decision" to go into Fine Art I stumble over it again. I will have this on repeat until I have tried every 10 tips and I'll comment here then what came out of it. There is a book store when I bring my child to the Kindergarden in the morning and for the last weeks your New York book is in the window - isn't that great?! Love from Bremen by a fellow Photographer, Dirksón!
Thank you so much. The personal project idea really cleared it up for me. I am 44 and really happy I came across you. And thank you for Jole Grimes and Scott Kelby. Have not come across them yet. I am so grateful to see this video and your channel.
@@SergeRamelliPhotography Hello, Serge. Do you classes move as fast as your RU-vid tutorials? I find myself pausing and rewinding very often and that is fine. But I am wondering your Landscape class moves that fast.
This is the first video of yours I've watched and this is unbelievably amazing advice🙏🏻My new favorite youtuber. So much inspiration and shows how big things don't have to be so far out of reach. This is the type of material I've been looking for rather than strictly how to photograph
I just stumbled upon you this morning as I was having difficulties with my flash and I found one of your videos and am blown away at how good your tips are, both technical and business much appreciated. But I love this particular story it's very inspiring.
No need to watch the Secret anymore, watching your videos will do. I just love these stories and I'm happy for you, you deserve what happened. And thanks for sharing, I appreciate it. You definitely rock!
Same mantra I use to learn something relatively quick. Tutorials, find someone you admire, reverse engineer their techniques until you master it, which should get you into their thought process, there you will ultimately start to forge your own style...
I, like many others, watch quite a few tutorials and yes they say photograph this way or that way but a Serge tutorial says WHY and you go into more of a passionate description of how to get the best from a composition, thank Serge.
I have been inspired by Serge Ramelli for the last five years now and I have learned photography skills and editing from his great tutorial videos. I was very lucky having had the chance to meet Serge Ramelli in Dubai in early January 2020. Hope to meet him again in the Future :).Bonjour Madame et Monsieur :)
I appreciate your tips and just wanted to thank you for publishing this video. It has inspired me to take that 'decision' which I should have a long time ago.
OK this is just what I've been looking for. Have been shooting as a passionate amateur for a number of years, but you've inspired me to take the leap. Thank you :) lets see what happens
Excellent. Merci
Great video Serge! I started following your work when you were doing interior design work . I've followed your videos and photographs on different websites and am glad to hear it has taken off for you in a big way. Congratulations!
I've been following you and have bought a lot of your tutorials, Serge. You have a genuine passion for photography that Iove and it sets you apart from many others.
I just stumbled across this vid whilst mooching through RU-vid. Very informative and very well done. And the story at the end was excellent. I’ve now subscribed and will watching a lot more of your channel. Keep up the good work.
Love your work Serge and I totally agree with most points bar one as it applies to my situation - not big on copying styles and never have been - in fact the opposite. When considering a project for exhibit a substantial amount of my time is thinking about how to be different.
I think he meant to "copy" as a means of learning and expanding your techniques subsequently finding your own style. I'm also learning digital media and I find this to be a useful way to learn.
Man. I needed this video today. Thank you. Not doing weddings. I even hate going to them. I make bets how long they will last.😂 Right now I am going to start printing my photos and find a printer that is interested in working with me, and helping me to learn how to make prints better. If you have printing tips from using Lightroom to a printing shop I would love to see that.
Serge, I'm fairly new to photography and just doing it as a hobby. I find it funny that you mentioned "look for someone to copy", because i try to copy your work and your photos inspire me and i just want to say thank you
Awesome video thanks for giving those tips, I currently in Real Estate 🏡 so I slow down on my photography passion, but as a photographer I help me a lot I do my own photos for all my listing so I don’t pay for real estate photography 😎 But I am thinking and go back to photography you inspired me. Thanks once again! Oh BTW my wife is French for the magical city of Nice cote d azul yay viva la France 🇫🇷 👍
Excellent video @Serge... Very informative, especially the promotional tips. However, Google plus has been deactivated now.. How do I now upload to Google public photos?
Bonjour Serge, merci pour ce partage. I noted you will release a new video about the next step after the shutdown of Google+. My point is how to feed Google Images without Google+. Congratulations for your work and talent. Je suis un peu avancé en âge pour me reconvertir en photographe Pro, mais tant qu'il y a le plaisir :)
Truly Inspiring Serge.. Loved your work & I don't think there is anyone who gives this much information for free. Truly aspiring for a beginner like me. Hoping to see more from you in coming time. Cheers.!!
Great video Serge! Fantastic tips and very inspiring. I'm also looking to move to photography for a living starting with wedding photography. Thanks and keep up the great work.
Great information! Amazing success stories! What's the difference between Interior Design Photography and Real Estate Photography? The first sounds like just the inside of the house, hotel and restaurant. What camera(s) did you use for your Paris and New York photos? The reason I am asking this is that I would like to take photos that can be printed huge and heard the sensor and megapixel are very important. I am currently using APSC sensor cameras. Thank you!
Very good advice. But the personality of this gentleman also proves that being a driven, charismatic salesmen and market-market-market is absolutely required to make it, period. Just a fact. You must sell a product that people want, touches their emotions, and to be located in a tourist location is of utmost benefit (as per Alain Briot in the Grand Canyon area of the USA). Doesn't hurt to live in Paris, of course, but the competition in the world's most photographed city is beyond enormous. Very difficult to do so in northern Canada, regardless of how good your work is. Plus, people are a little tight with their money here, you have to work extremely hard to even make a sale (people want you to give them a digital file for free, it's crazy). Good on Serge though, thanks for this very informative video!
