bro thank you for going through under the hood...im newer to rc hobby and trying to figure out what motor/esc combo will fit in my car "stock" is hard to do! I measured but I never trust my calipers lol. sick setup. I have that same esc motor combo on the way and going to play with gearing! loving this hobby as I come from fop drones. I also make my cars all fpv lol going al, sot 100mph fpv will be sick!
Awesome build bro, Cool to see what you can do with these Arrma cars they are so versatile for either speedrunning or bashing. i'm planning to do a Felony first then get a Limitless V2 after the Felony since i might keep mine stock and do the speedrun build on the Limitless platform.
Couldn't agree more! That’s how I did it. And I found that the Felony is limited on speed runs due to its differential drivetrain ratio. But it’s fun pushing its limits. Just a little of crashes.
@@MatrixRC I agree too, That's why i plan to do the Felony for Bashing then the Limitless for speedruns i originally was going to do the Limitless for both. But the new Limitless V2 would need a few parts before it can become a basher and it would cost a lot to build it that way.
@@MatrixRC An update BTW I just bought a Felony roller\slider with stock orange body off eBay Today. Now i'm waiting for it to ship and get into my hands then i need to figure out what i want to do for ESC and Motor for it i might pull my MMX8s\1717 1,650kv combo from my XO-1.
I have my XLX2 mounted on top of the center diff, so I guess this cool body doesn't have enough room on the top for that huh? I guess I woud have to do what you did here in your video. 🤔
Being an RC Hobbyist means being creative in what makes you smile. You don't need to setup yours like mines. I've seen amazing creations from a lot of rc goers and they make it work for them. If you like you XLX2 an amazing system by the way. If you prefer it above the center diff leave it. I can't tell you if it has enough room in your setup but if I was to do with my current setup it would fit no problem. But if it didn't I'll make it fit. Also, depends on what you're setting your RC car up for. I appreciate your comments and questions. Thanks for watching.
On my Limitless I put the front Felony gears and bought another front one and put it in my Limitless. The gear Ratio is optimal for higher speeds. 2.8 And that's what the Infraction V2 comes with.
