Is the needle bearing ok?

i have a 85 and its not sparking could some one hekp me posible

87 the first and only year with the 8 pedal reed cage

Just ran lean needle bearing will cause 4x more damage....the loose rod could of caused a spike in compression..cwusing it to detonate possibly..luckily its a boreable cylinder

My lord...... that heads fine. It's from somone running shitty fuel in the past or from the jetting being way off. Sand all the little burs down and slap it back on itll be 100% ok..... another thing that's not piston slap... you do realize that a piston isnt tight in a cylinder.... the rings are. That's how it's supposed to be..... 3rd... there was no loose needle bearing anywhere in that top end because if somehow a needle bearring did fall out somewhere it wouldnt bounce around in the engine itd probably send a rod through the cases....

Send your cylinder to POWER SEAL. They will replate your cylinder they do great work.

Just got an 86 , gas cap vent was plugged and has a cheap nock off mikuni on it . Reran the fuel line , new plug, drained gas , then added new . Will only run with choke on and wants to die , will only start with starting fluid . Feels like low compression , but I think the port timing may be off due to a bearing . Who knows

Easy fix get it nickel plated and new bottom end.

Check that frame for cracks on the welds
