Short tour around my 1995 Mitsubishi Pajero 2.8 Turbo Diesel, imported from Japan. In this video I'll show some of the features that I find to be interesting
I bought a 1994 Pajero Wagon highroof model, the largest body made. It has the 4m40 engine as well. I bought it last year with only 57,000 kilometers. Wanted one my whole life and finally was able. Yours is very nice too. We also picked up a 1996 Land Cruiser Prado as a family vehicle with the 1kz-te turbo diesel engine. Enjoy it man!
@@GulfCoastDieselz it's great really. They have their pros and cons. The pajero is lower geared and has limited slip differential, whereas the Prado does not. The Toyota is definitely more responsive on throttle and you can hear the turbo whistle through the exhaust which is fun to drive and people turn their head at that. They do for the appearance/style of both too. The Toyota has a much softer ride and brakes are softer as well. I like them both but enjoy the Pajero more, partially because I always wanted one. The brakes are sharper, suspension stiffer, condition is more immaculate, the style is more radical, and the engine sounds like an old noisy diesel. I live on a mountain and drive across 2 commuting to work every day. It has never had an issue with any weather condition including ice and snow. The Prado is much softer all around so the comfort is there for that preference and has had issue with snow and ice because of the differential. The Prado engine is more powerful, but that doesn't outweigh my likes for the Pajero. They actually complement eachother as far as multiple vehicles to own. I'm looking at continually acquiring more imports each year and finishing my garage. Building a huge one to fill up and pass on to the kids lol. I bought mine through Duncan Imports.
Nice Paj. They’re also made for the export RHD markets like the UK, Australia etc which is why decals are in English. I have all the same running gear as this in my Delica Spacegear 2.8, it’s done 282,000km and drives like new
