The cool thing about Costco is that they pay their employees better than Sam’s and other stores and give them better health plans etc, so that’s why the higher prices… and as a former service worker, that’s great IMO! I don’t mind the higher prices when it’s for that reason! Also better quality products at Costco than other big boxes! Love Costco! It’s my fave!
We like Costco and Sam’s! A Costco secret is that if a price ends in .97 it’s a clearance and .00 a managers special 😉 Ours is already clearancing Christmas decor because by Christmas they take it all out!
It pays itself off for sure. The meats and fish are always fresh, never had any bad meats. Baking options are always widespread. The extras are fun I always find neat things that you may not see at Sam's.
I have a Costco in my town already but they are building a new Costco here as well that’s going to become the biggest Costco in the world so far. So I’m very excited because my city is big and the Costco we have right now is always packed!
Girl I hear you about the germ anxiety I’ve been the same way pre c-vid . I just find it hard to still see people being inconsiderate about spreading there germs as if nothing .
wow your first time at Costco!! I love all their organic options, but even as a family of 4 we can't eat through a lot of the food/snacks there lol. So glad you have one now! Mine has baby bell cheese and string cheese, but yours could be different. Thanks for taking us along ◡̈
Thank you! Admittedly, I do not enjoy keeping up with nails 😅 But a friend who does nails wanted to try out some new products! So of course I said yes!
My friend only gets gas at Costco (has for years) & their mechanic told them Costco has the cleanest gasoline 😀 I love getting their Kirkland brand of paper products including toilet paper & the Unreal brand of candy is so good!! 😀👌 Lastly I don’t know if Costco has this but Sam’s Club has the scan & go in their app & my husband & I use that when we shop at Sam’s 😊We just scan the items as we put them in our physical cart & pay on the app when we’re done shopping, by passing the long checkout lines & going to the exit line where they check our digital receipt 😊
Due to Costco crowds & germs everywhere I wear a mask 😷. I’ve noticed in my grocery stores people are masking more. I think it being flu season, it’s not a bad idea.
My daughter loves the Undercover quinoa crisps, they have that in target as well. I give that to her if she’s asking for a “treat”. We also love the That’s It bars!
Lol omg thank you for your germ anxiety honesty lol. I really don't enjoy Costco at all because of the insane crowds, husy-ness, and line ups lol. I didn't want to write a comment discouraging you from Costco but you literally saw on your first trip what I've disliked for years! The upside is they have some unique stuff as well as some good deals sprinkled in. But you have to know your prices as many things are the same price or even cost more than other big box stores! 😅
I love Costco. I don't like crowds either so I never go on the weekends. I usually go after work in the middle of the week. I always buy Rao's sauce there. The prepared meals are good. I've heard good things about the cranberry jalepeno dip you showed so I'm hoping to get some. In my Costco in Tennessee they do have discounted gift cards.
You should try the Clorox sanitizing mist!! I just discovered it and I’ve been spraying down EVERYTHING to help keep the kiddos from getting sick so much.
Just from your typical food prep, things that are good deals are maple syrup, olive oil, paper goods like towels, and toilet paper when on sale. The rotisserie chicken is awesome. I am also a small family and most packages (chips etc) are too big. Even the prepared food is expensive and large. and I won't pay for things (like soups) I can make myself. I find this store to be overwhelming all the time. You should get a sale circular with coupons periodically which is helpful. I know the feeling about germs. I hate being in crowded places as well. I had a hard time sending my kids to school, knowing that they would come home with many gifts (germs). I also have a lot of trouble spending so much because I still have to go to the store for fruits and veggies, milk, and bread. But it is fun. And I agree, Sam's is cheaper but Costco has more variety.
The earlier you go to Costco the better like right when they open here they open at 10:00am they do have some gift cards they in a card board sheets and they have certain ones to get also you missed a lot the soup is excellent and pasta you can freeze it freeze bread and everything, meat and chicken are good pizzas, are a good price for the cheese pizza, the egg bite Starbucks are good they only have 5 pack so you could eat them fast, but you can refrigerate them a long time so no worries there, cheese yes they have it n a cold storage area or the small isles past the meat section they don’t carry everything all the time so get it when you see it if you need it . I love your nails so pretty
We get some of the same things as you. Surprised you didn’t try the rotisserie chicken. It is delicious. Not organic though. We got lots of cheeses there. You must of missed a whole section. We get string cheese, baby bel and mini mozzarella for lunches for the kids. Their price on blocks of cheese is great. We get a 2 lb block of cheddar and I shred it as I need it. Also the Parmesan and locatelli blocks. They are the good brands. Great price for organic eggs. We also buy meat and separate it into portions. Much better price. I think you have an extra freezer. If you don’t that will be tough to store.
Why does Maine take forever to have particular places there?! Amybody know?. I always look forward to your grocery haul videos because it truly helps me spend wisley on groceries :). You have head back and get the muffins as well as those spicy chicken sandwitches as well as chicken bake ones!
I swear it’s because our Population is lower 😭 or something! I’ll definitely try those items next time! I never dare buy frozen chicken sandwiches unless someone else tells me they are good first 😅
I like Costco but I prefer Sam’s. I tend to buy more, spend less there (plus I love the Sam’s app!) haha. I do miss the Just Bare chicken breasts in the frozen section at Costco!
@@TresChicMama same, scan and go is the best or the Plus membership for pickup and free shipping!! I couldn’t do the prices and lines at Costco anymore and made the switch to Sam’s. 🙂
I had a Costco membership year's ago let it go just got another membership I hate how crowded it always is though I try to go really early like when it opens be at door still crowded but way better than later in day definitely have a great selection and prices are way better than my grocery store.
While I love Costco products, the anxiety Shopping there is way too much for me. I am always completely exhausted mentally after costco so I try to go as far apart with my trips when I can.
