Their personalities is what drawns a lot of fans in actually, even if they don't fully stan them, I'd say kpop stans really enjoy their content because they're known for being one of the most carefree boy groups out there, they honestly don't care about the typical idol image. They've been so open and no-filter since they were rookies. They'll soon be 7 years since debut and their brotherhood & bond is one of the strongest in kpop.

GOT7 is really crazy and loud, they remind me of Mamamoo, I think you’re gonna like them. Both groups get along well by the way, because since their debut they’ve been having their comeback around the same time of the year so they’re usually doing their promotion at the same time

The ones you kept getting confused were Yugyeom (that’s the one whose voice you really liked) and Jinyoung (my bias) and both their voices are amazing!!! Oooo Got7 is also one of those groups that you can count on for bops and great vocals. I don't think they've ever had a "bad" song lol. I'm mostly a GG stan but EXO, GOT7 are those boy groups that always deliver. Their live performances are exquisite too. Criminally underrated in my personal opinion, I think they definitely deserve more Korean recognition but adored by many, many international fans. Be careful bc they're hard to not stan 🤣

EXO and GOT7 are actually my two favourite groups of all time, along with NCT who you might have heard of as some of the NCT members are together in the group Super M with Baekhyun and Kai. I'm glad you plan on taking your time learing everything about EXO and don't want to take on too many groups at once, but I would love if in the future - once you're a well educated Exo-L - you could check out more about GOT7! They have a very powerful and distinct vocal line, as you've pointed out yourself, and are in general all very musically talented. The one member you assumed to be the leader, Jackson Wang, is one of Got7s rappers but actually also has a very successful solo career and in his own songs he sings a lot. His songs are beautiful and he has a very creative mind, so most music videos are produced by himself and very interesting. Plus, you might appreciate that he's quite hot and a talented dancer haha. The song itself was produced by Youngjae - the member you said has a forward voice. I'd say he's Got7's best vocalist, he's seriously so talented - and him and EXO's Suho are actually friends! This pre-release is composed by the main vocal Youngjae under the name Ars, and main release on 11/30 is composed by the leader JB under the name Def/Defsoul. Yugy is never anyone’s favorite vocal!!! I’m so happy for him. Yugyeom was the one in the middle of Not By The Moon. The one with the falsettos. He’s the main dancers, the (giant) maknae, and a vocalist. The one with the crown was Jackson. The long haired one who looked like a bad boy was JB, the leader. GOT7 is so talented. They are great dancers, singers, visuals. They should be way more popular than they are, but their label sucks. (JYPE, of which is owned by JYP who you reacted to performing with Mamamoo. He’s also an artist at his own label. He promotes his own interests (his stuff and his girl groups) way over his groups. GOT7 and StrayKids should both be bigger. Got7 is mistreated, as has been documented online, and there have even been comments thanking fans for advocating for the group for better treatment (which were taken down very quickly). Despite fans begging, the group’s albums do not get sold in the US, their last album was only given two weeks of promotion, they don’t get booked for many music shows like other groups for their comebacks. Actually, many advertisements are paid for by the fans coming together. Fans have even booked shows for GOT7. The group is much more popular outside of South Korea, where fans do promotions. The guys write a lot of their own music, which is then turned down by JYP (there are many videos of him listening to their songs for literally two seconds before turning it off saying he doesn’t like it). Group members have went through depression, have had their personal lives harmed by saesangs and the label does not protect them. This is why so many people dislike JYP (which I’m sure your video with him had many comments about him) So please, DO stan GOT7. They have all kinds of songs, hard hitting, soft, catchy. But all of them have beautiful vocals and dances.

I don't stan any Bgs, but Swear Not by the Moon is one of the first K-pop BG songs I listened to and it was the first time a song clicked to me and I started jamming on it in the first listen! I'm the type of person who doesn't really vibe with a song until after a few listens. So that was a shock to me and same with You Calling My Name, except a bit less. Btw, Jinyoung and Mark caught my eye the most. The first time a RAPPER caught my eye, cuz I'm not much into rapping lol😅

omg yes! I'm an exol but GOT7 are so good and talented too! Their songs are all bops and these days my head is stuck on Breath! Btw the more you'll listen to them the more you'll fall in love with them, even the bside tracks are good. I am so exciting! you react to my boys! Ahgase to the end!. They have amazing voices, especiale Youngjae, JB and Yugyeom, they have a very high pitch. Jackson, Mark and Bam Bam have a lower range and my bias Jinyoung has a very sweet voice. They are one of the best grups of the therd generation that still making bops. They are at the top and they have a very lovely fandom. You should see them, they have a crazy personality (as mamamoo but in boys), and they are friends with everyone. They are a multilingual grup, Bam Bam is Thai, Marc is form LA and knows some spanish and Jackson is from China and can speak five languajes. Jackson has his own work that you can check, subunits are Just2 and JJproject. Now it's your choice I done my work, I hope you find this information interestin.

Breath came out on 23rd of Nov and is composed by one of the members, Youngjae, the one who starts the first chorus with high note.. "Breath" is the first single from their full album which is coming out on 30th of Nov.. each member has their self-composed song in it.. honestly their self-composed songs are better than the ones chosen by the company

Got7 was the group that got me into kpop! Their song Stop Stop it (a really fun song that’s just easy to listen to) it came out on my birthday in 2014 so it was like the perfect birthday present into my new obsession lol. I never escaped. The members: Jackson: he is the main rapper, sub vocalist and face of the group (he is also friends with literally everyone in Kpop) the one wearing the crown and the one sitting on the bench in green. He is a very accomplished rapper and soloist in China as well. JB: he is the leader, main vocalist, lead dancer and center, he has the long hair in the first video and the mullet in the second. He is a very chill and down to earth person. Yugyeom: is the one you pointed out as your favorite, he is the maknae, main dancer, sub vocalist and sub rapper. He is often confused as the oldest since he is so tall lol BamBam: sub rapper and sub vocalist. He is like Jackson where he is very friendly and is friends with everyone. Youngjae and BamBam are best friends. He is the one with the close cropped platinum and red hair Youngjae: is the main vocalist, he is the one in the second video that you said you liked his vocals. A lot of people get yugyeom and youngjae confused because they look like brothers. Youngjae is an actual ray of sunshine. Mark: lead rapper, sub vocalist and visual. He is the one you commented about rapping lol he is very swaggy. He is also a very good dancer. Jinyoung: he is the ace he is sub rapper, sub vocalist, visual, center and face of the group. He is the mom figure and incredibly handsome. He, Jackson and Mark are very close You were pretty right about them not caring about what people think about them. Not Bye The Moon the MV is based on Romeo & Juliet and each represents a phase in their history. Jackson "the king" represents the part of the family fight (if you notice between the throne there are dancers with shirts and without shirts representing each family).The leader of the group is JB, the one with long hair and who sings the first chorus. Listen to the mini album "DYE" it is all based on the story of Romeo & Juliet. "Breath" is a pre single, which was composed by Youngjae (who sings the first chorus, I think you even said you liked his voice) that will be present in the Full album that will be released on 11/30 along with the Title "Last Piece" that was composed by the leader JB (usually they compose the musics themselves. Oh about Jackson (The king), he has a solo career and in addition to rapping, he sings too (he has a voice that when he hears, he already knows it's him). As a brazilian ahgase, I’m very happy you reacted to GOT7! They are my top favorite artist, not only for their talent (they REALLY can do anything, and are very complete as artists) but also for their personality, charisma and friendship with each other. These guys are one of my favs to listen to, been in the game since 2014 and repeatedly drop amazing music of all kinds. You are right that they have this really unique laid-back confidence to them, super chill and yet slightly crazy too (excellent combo imho) They also have so many other projects going individually and so many talents (generally if a group lasts in kpop they have serious talent in lots of areas and these boys are no different).

They're super sweet dorks, and they're really funny. Their songs are good, too. The three main rappers are all foreign: Jackson is from Hong Kong, Mark is American of Taiwanese descent, and BamBam (the blond one in Not by the moon) is Thai, and they're all proficient English speakers, besides Korean and their native languages. Jackson is also a soloist, so you might want to check him out, too.
